Dina Summer (@dinasummer), the international trip of Berlin-based producer Kalipo and powerhouse DJ couple Local Suicide present ‘Rimini Remixes’, an ambitious remix 12-inch bursting with energy on Iptamenos Discos. The artists met at a rave in 2013 and have been pushing boundaries ever since with their unique blend of new wave, late 90’s electro, and elements of 80’s disco. This new release comes after a busy year for the ever-prolific trio, following the release of their globally acclaimed debut album ‘Rimini’, soon to be reissued on Audiolith.

The ‘Rimini Remixes’ EP is a groovy four-tracker featuring remixes by household names of the Italian scene, including three exclusive tracks. The first remix of ‘Mars’ sees cosmic icon Daniele Baldelli join forces with Marco Dionigi, the experimental trailblazer and head of Prismatikone Records’ Quantistic Division. The two long-time collaborators have been making waves together since the 90s with their convention-defying sound. Their remix brings out the dreamy undertones of the original, with a beautifully evocative melody threading through the track, as soft, spacey vocals float overhead.

The legendary electro pioneer and producer of the 80’s cult hit ‘Problèmes d’Amour’ Alexander Robotnick then brings a stripped-down, subtly retro remix of ‘Amore’, with metallic echoes and a smooth bassline that perfectly underscore the sensual lyrics.

The prolific selector, producer and owner of the Italian labels Slow Motion and New Era Fabrizio Mammarella follows, lending his trademark experimental touch to the ‘Rimini’ remix. He shows off his exceptional technical talent with this exclusive track, twisting it to bring out faded vocals and mechanical undertones that evoke the inner workings of a dysfunctional machine.

The final remix comes from the Berlin-based producer Italo Brutalo (@italobrutalo), known for his outstanding mixing skills and his spectacular live acts that led him to perform all over the world. He closes off with a minimalistic, tense version of ‘Wunderbar’, stripping the song down to its core elements before adding an eerie touch with distorted, robotic notes.

Refreshing and unpredictable, this release takes you along for a deep dive into a surprising variety of genres and influences that will take your breath away at every turn.

INCOMING : Agle - Moonlight Sonata #RewindIt

“The Blue Hour” is the second VA of Berlin-based THISBE Recordings, following “Black Ink” released in 2022. Curated by label owner Pyrame, the new compilation is an invitation to cruise through the blue hour, that unique time of the day from dusk to night.

During that special time lapse, as the sky goes through several shades of blue, so goes the record:

Dominik Marz´s “Bura´s Hymn” brings us straight above the Earth´s surface with a track as atmospheric as it can get, before Radial Gaze & Balam´s collab tune “Foreclosed” sets the scene for a groovy dance above the clouds.

We have already lost sight of the ground when World Wild Web initiates an immersion into an enigmaticphase of the voyage with his track “Extase”, where we do not really know in which time-space we findourselves any more. Agle hints at a possible spot: “Sahel”, a tune that feels like a breeze across thedesert, before Philip Lawns shakes everyone up with the upbeat “Johns”, bringing our feet back justabove the ground. Volta Cab wraps up our imaginary trip with “Krasnodar Nights”, bringing a treat forthe soul and some peace of mind. The night can now settle down.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Agle - Sahel [THISBE]

Here is the new one by the talentutous Scottish-born Thai artist : Keep Me In The Light. Renowned for the quality of his incredible edits on the web, he drops here an epic and dancefloor release.
“Rapid Bass Groover” is an efficient melodic track.

Carried by a mastered rhythm, the melodic arpeggio reinforced by the twirling pads make positive thoughts soar on the dancefloor. It’s time for unity in these dark times ;). Only Love must remain.
The second original track “Neon Nights”, quieter, is always filled with good feelings. The main melody is incredibly accompanied by sumptuous, haunting andsoft pads, leads. In the break time, the piano gives to the track a little and local House touch.
Then, when the tracks drop, arms rise and we dance while dreaming.

Our swiss army knife Brandski is back with a fast and powerful italotrance remix of the eponym track. It grooves, it’s energetic, the steps follow one another and we let ourselves go...
Happy to have again with us Aural Trace, for a pure body remix this time.

He mainly focused on the melodic arpeggio and pads of the original to bring a more italo and acid touch. The remix grabs the listener’s guts!

To close this wonderful remix series, Agle is the right one !
The boss of the new imprint “Rewind It” gives to “Neon Nights” a magical disco-house touch. Really positive, it seems that the sun is always in our hearts listening to this tittle.

We start a new year by welcoming for the first time Mexican duo Damo Mementto teaming up with Anna Forest.
Combining indie dance and electronic rock, ‘Futturo Desconocido’ is nostalgic and, as the name suggests, ‘futuristic’, taking the audience on a deep and cosmic adventure.
The original is a collaboration with producer Anna Forest and has been remixed with two of the monster names in indie dance, Damon Jee and Rigopolar.

Damon Jee raises the tempo with his version of Futturo Desconocido, keeping the vocals but bringing in the drums and reworking the original into a dark, dancefloor-oriented work, with convoluted arpeggios and echoing vocals in a unique remake of the original.

Jo Kazan, a French DJ and producer now based in Barcelona, is the founder of RetroFuture events and Kazanova Club, as well as the Label Manager of Cabana Libre Records. Jo’s sound masterfully blends our favorite elements: Italo, Trance, and Dark Disco.

VLTN007 Blazing Freedom EP delivers a high-energy Italo trance anthem with an infectious vocal. The title track is paired with an emotional signature piece by Jo, complemented by three top remixes from CLOSE PROXIMITY, Amarcord, and Louis de Tomaso.
