Let’s head back to 83 and then fast forward till today. Now we got Kay-Chi up for a brilliant EP. This Greek knows his way around hardware synthesizers. That’s for sure!

One might think that “Back To 83” refers to a specific year when the music was extra good or perhaps some childhood memories. While all of that may be true, what happened in 83 was the introduction of the Roland JX-3P synthesizer. And now you wonder, why is this relevant? Well, obviously because the track was made using that synthesizer, duh!

To make matters even more interesting, we invited another hardware guru to do one of the remixes, Italo Brutalo. And among these two hardware heroes, our label boss Marcus managed to sneak his way into both a remix and a collab, despite being fully digital.

Back To 83 is everything you can expect from a classic italo track. It has a super catchy and playful upbeat melody, a robot voice and a female talking about synthesizers. And there’s a very summery vibe about the whole track.

Marcus remix keeps the best of 83 and amplifies it with a bit of modern attitude, and perhaps you could call it some “soundtrack-y” chords too.

If Back To 83 was happy and summery, then “Life In A Loop” missed the exit to the summer resort and just kept going north. This one has a bit more grit, intricate arpeggios and powerful synthesizers. Combine that with poetic vocals from Kally Voo that carry a lot of attitude. Voilà!

And for Italo Brutalo’s remix on Life In A Loop, we once again find robot voices!(!!!) Together with his powerful and catchy synth lead, this remix takes more of an anthemic turn. And we love it! And wow, that kick really packs a punch!

After finally being able to watch “Starting a music label for dummies” on our good ol’ Videocassette Recorder, we felt that the time had come for our 4+ year-old media to get up to speed and embark on a new journey.

Today, we are delighted to welcome Amarcord – one of our top artists – on our very first EP.

Marco Catapano is an Italian producer, DJ and live performer. His music – floating in a realm between romantic lullabies and dark atmospheres – translates a deep love for the sounds of the past such as New Wave, Post-Punk and Krautrock, reinvented through the perspective of electronic and dance music modern waves.

Also a cinema lover, his EP “Sacrificio” tells a fantastic two-act story.

The EP’s first act “Sacrificio” is a track where powerful bass lines intertwine with a killer kick, trance synth tones and melodic layers enhanced by Marco’s voice, giving it some dramatic yet harmonious tension.

The second and final act “See Them Go” is a splendid Indie-Pop ballad with an airy New Wave influence. It’s a happy ending in a very different style than Sacrificio’s, showing Marco’s wide range of creativity.

After dropping the banger "Keep It Strong" a year ago, Patricio Diaz is back with his first full release. The title track "Night Lights" is a masterful blend of Trance and Italo influences, an anthem celebrating dancefloor unity and joy.

"A Walk at Dawn," also infused with a trance vibe and a faster tempo, evokes the feel of an '80s road movie with its compelling groove.

ROTCIV's remix introduces a darker, almost eerie element, yet retains an undeniable disco touch, crafting a transcendental experience perfect for late-night dancing.

To close this strong release, Theo Scuera adds a more progressive '90s touch to “Night Lights.” This is music meant for tapping your feet loudly and jumping on the dancefloor.
