10 years of AEON... a decade of music and inspiration.

And we continue with part 4 of AEON’s 10 years celebration with more of our beloved friends and artists, whose music has brought smiles, tears, and a surge of energy to music enthusiasts worldwide! To mark this special anniversary, we have invited artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping our label’s journey over the past decade to contribute to our commemorative release, ‘AEON X’. This remarkable compilation will be unveiled in five parts, starting on August 4th. Today, we are thrilled to share Vol. 4 with you, featuring original tracks by DC Salas, Fabrizio Mammarella, Shubostar and Peter Invasion & Gregor  Habicht.

Beyond The Struttosphere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs combining their considerable musical production experience with an insatiable passion for cosmic chugging dark disco.

The cosmonauts embark on their most ambitious journey yet with the release of ‘Odyssey-10’ on Emerald & Doreen records. True to its name, the lead track evokes an epic space voyage propelled by driving arpeggiators, chunky layered percussion, high-octane guitar hits and the signature BTS chug bassline.

The tune progresses into a tectonic breakdown heightened by
spacey Juno chords before launching into a dynamite crescendo that burns contrails through the atmosphere.

Remixes are provided by two bastions of the scene: Mexican dark wave star
Vongold introduces lustful celestial vocals into the mix, dialling down the tempo, and repurposing the track into a post-punk acid chugger that takes no prisoners. French dark disco connoisseur Badknife applies his masterful touch with a second remix, cranking up the throb and deploying interstellar synth arrangements that will have you reaching for your seatbelt.

The duo venture into uncharted territory with ‘Satellite Cities’, a collaboration with cosmic queen Miss Zagato. Undoubtedly their funkiest production to date, this galactic chugger is a hypnotic blend of funky guitar plucks, electrifying stabs and groovy riffs, underpinned by Miss Zagato’s intoxicating lyrics that transport you to the moon in a hypersonic X-15. Building in momentum and complexity, the track climaxes with a mesmerising vocal chorus, elevated by cosmic synth melodies and a resonating mid-range bass that will echo for aeons to come.

The original is backed by a sublime remix from Spanish electronic virtuoso, Ivan Fabra, whose take re-imagines the track as a pulsating Balearic dancefloor anthem loaded with powerful drums and ethereal pads that melt into the sunset.

The EP concludes with ‘Storming Heaven’, a sonically charged acid trip that adventures through the cosmos, guided by a weighty chugging bass, a psychedelic 303 line, tripped out guitar chords and an array of cosmic FX. The tune traverses two mystical breakdowns before ascending into stratospheric planes with a euphoric synth sequence and a staggering guitar solo courtesy of long-time BTS collaborator Stannard Procedure. “Ich Geh Nicht Mit Dir” is a stunning, intoxicating title, which could lead the crowd to a certain alienation. The metronomic groove of the song is carried by swirling vocals and pads, an almost horrifying atmosphere of a manhunt !

The second original piece “Running through Fiction” is definitively a pure dancefloor track ! The manhunt goes to the next level, danger is everywhere and the only way out is certainly the dancefloor ! The dance steps follow one after the other, the sneakers smoke, the bodies sweat, welcome in the secret playground !

Welcome to the talented Jason Core on the imprint. The spanish producer gives to the eponym track a more Italo way, giving extra energy. And when the acid wave breaks, it’s crazy !

To close the wonderful release, Jakob Mäder is back with a pretty housy remix of the second original track. And when the piano is added to the rhythm, a kind of melancholy accompanies the hearts. Or maybe it’s joy ?

Italo Brutalo unveils his latest maxi single "You Make Me Feel So" 

Prepare for a sonic journey into the heart of the '80s synthwave resurgence as Italo Brutalo drops his latest maxi single "You Make Me Feel So". This three-track release showcases the artist's ability in melding nostalgic sounds with contemporary beats, promising a feast for both vintage enthusiasts and modern music lovers. It also includes a stunning remix from upcoming star and label colleague Kay-Chi. On top of that all Bungalo Disco created very special videos based on the original Roland TR-707 matrix display to complete the audio-visual concept.

Vintage Machines, Modern Magic: Italo Brutalo's commitment to authenticity shines through in his meticulous use of classic gear. The Roland W-30 and Akai MPC3000 lay the foundation, providing rhythmic backbone and textural richness. The Roland Jupiter-6 infuses the tracks with its unmistakable bass sequences while the Juno-106 contribute to the lush, analog atmospheres. 
Time-Tested Effects: The maxi single's sonic landscape is further enriched by the dreamy ambiance of old-school effects machines. The Ibanez Delay adds a touch of nostalgia, the Roland Tape Delay creates expansive sonic landscapes and the Alesis Nanoverb brings a subtle yet immersive dimension to the mix.

Nothing Is Real is back for the release number 24 with a retro wave EP coming from the talented Corsica based dj and producer Valerj, which includes 2 stunning remixes by Roe Deers and Amarcord.
Valerj’s debut solo with the title track ‘La Selva’. Thanks to the magic sounds of nature, this tune is a muscular take on dubby electronic music that gradually builds tension and suspense throughout its almost eight-minute duration. The track is followed up soon after with a brilliant remix from the mighty Lithuanian producer, Roe Deers, who brings the distorted and trippy bass to the foreground while decorating the track with additional
percussions, effects and melodies.
The EP’s second track ‘Senza Tè’ demonstrates Valerj’s experimental spirit, as tricked-out sequencer arp and uncanny MIDI instrumentation compete for the listener’s attention. This is
a truly original and mesmerizingly unique piece of synth-pop music. 
The Third track ‘Frisco’ wants to confirm the Italo-fingerprint of Valerj’s productions with a main synth who drives into
rolling drums, cosmic synths and ethereal voices.
Finishing off the release is the body-mover ‘It’s A New Wave’ Mix of Senza Tè by Amarcord, which slowly builds a head-nodding rhythm from his typical Italo touch with punchy snares, a resonant bass wobble that bring us back to that new wave edge listeners associate with Nothing Is Real.

Brussels-based up-and-coming talent Ikaro Grati marks his Feines Tier debut with the four track SEARCH LANGUAGE EP. As Ikaro himself puts it, it’s „an euphonious exploration of the new generation, weaving together their hopes, dreams, challenges, and contradictions into a sonic tapestry“. And indeed, if this sound represents the new generation, then we’re in good hands! It’s diverse and sprawling, yet laser-focused in its production. Take the title track with its clear-cutting drum patterns, warm basslines and super-sharp lead sounds, the picture is clear, no smudge on the lense to distort our view. Or „Run Like A Child“ with its bouncing vocal samples and synth arpeggios creating a playful and whimsical vibe, „reflecting the vibe of hope and renewal“ as Ikaro himself puts it. „Social Syndrome“ gets more serious with pulsing 303s and dramatic string pads. Ikaro says „the track is about the pressure of the younger generation to be constantly connected and the social anxiety that can result“, for example by social media tending to create unrealistic expectations and feelings of inadequacy. The EP closes with the bangin’ „New Leaf Generation“, which alternates urging vocal loops with intense synth explorations. The tune culminates in a break introducing beautiful poly-synth chord progressions before throwing us back into the relentless groove of before. „This track evokes a sense of hope and optimism, as it describes a generation that is standing up for what they believe“ says Ikaro. Let’s celebrate them for that!

Etane presents 'Tōru', a new EP that serves as a profound dialogue between electronic music and avant-garde art. By integrating fragments of various art forms, Etane merges two distinct worlds into a singular immersive experience.

Opening up with EP’s self-titled track Ai ‘Tōru’, Etane presents an obscure landscape with hints of italo and techno. Where well rounded lower tones meet excited percussion and organic vocal pads merge with tripped out arpeggios. A fresh and perfectly balanced blend that showcases his signature sound from the very beginning..

Stuttery vocals, impactful drums, bouncy basslines and frenetic synths are the main ingredients of ‘Obsessive’, an elegant recipe ideal for uplifting moments of the night.
