Sapphist Eye is a DJ since 2018 and began producing electronic music in 2021. A fan of new beat and techno sounds, her music revolves around a universe at once powerful and sensitive.

After an adolescence driven mainly by Rock music, she discovered electronic music while attending queer parties and clubs in Paris. She ended up getting behind the decks a few years later, baptized by Morello during a Kidnapping party at the Wanderlust.

In April 2023, her track “Exist Everywhere” was selected to be part of the 2nd compilation of the lesbian collective Barbi(e)turix, bringing together 18 artists and sponsored by Chloé. In November 2023, she signed her first EP as a duo with Naominitel on the Les Disques du Lobby label.

Next up on Vapour Recordings we have a massive EP from the founder of onesixtwo recordings - Tripswitch.

Nick Brennan joins Vapour Recordings for his first solo outing with the label with this magnificent moody and emotive track - Dose. This track was brought to our attention late last year and it was one we just had to have for the label. Full of lush chords, a warm moody baseline, simple and memorable synth line and a brilliant overall feel to it. This track has been a statement track in Kasey Taylor's sets recently.

On remix duties we have many people that need zero introduction. First up we have Argentinian legend Hernan Cattaneo who is one of the labels biggest supporters returning to Vapour again for the 3rd time, this time teaming back up with Marcelo Vasami who also returns to the label. This powerhouse duo deliver an uplifting peak time take on the original mix which rocks the big rooms.

And also on remix duties we have Columbian powerhouse and legend of a DJ in Kamilo Sanclemente who teams up with Brazilian rising star André Moret. These two also deliver a stunning version of the original mix making this package irresistible.

It was just a few months ago that the Mexican DJ/producer released Aluxes, his first EP on Lumière Noire. 
That record‘s four astounding tracks (complete with a Tolouse Low Trax remix) further re- fined the producer’s approach to dark disco: off-kilter and bordering on the iconoclastic, but always dancefloor oriented. At the same time, the Jalisco native demonstrated how one can very much stand out on the worldwide electronic music scene while remaining faithful to one’s roots, infusing the EP’s hypnotic mid-tempo grooves with haunting incantations to Mayan deities – and other mischievous mythological creatures. 
In keeping with Chloé’s A&R policy, Xu Xu’s two tracks and two remixes continue in the same vein, indulging in off-beat signatures and innovative electronic flourishes, taking the listener on a languid tour of a dense, luxuriant jungle – as if floating on a raft of mysterious percus- sion and hallucinated voices. 
Just like on Vontier’s previous effort, the listener is left with the impression of being slowly taken over by a spell, sinking into a ritual trance prompted by the bewitching chants of Tel Aviv’s Xen (a vocalist who runs in the same circles as Red Axes). 
Vontier doubles down on the electronic hexes with a version of the title track (Otra Version) giving the bold mystical invocation a slightly rougher edge. 
The track also gets the remix treatment from the incredible Roman Flügel (a pioneer of labels Playhouse, Dial and Klang), who has recently put his stamp on tracks by Daniel Avery and  C.A.R. 
The EP concludes with a second original track, Chiquitita On Acid, with its alternately tuned keyboards (a Vontier signature) and whispered vocals that place the listener at the cross- roads of universes, between dawn and dusk, resulting in a lascivious dancefloor groove that is equal parts haunting and hedonistic. 
Just like Xu Xu, Chiquitita’s original version will be part of Iñigo Vontier’s debut album (co- ming to Lumière Noire sometime in the next few months), a full-length that will build upon the young artist’s strengths, bringing his many facets to light.

Release number 12 for the @OmbraInternational label features  a selection of newcomers from all corners of the globe. Including Lithuania's Zakmina, Volta Cab from Russia, Israeli Salto Honduras, Pontias from France and Spanish artist Mike Sachetti.

Luca Venezia's aka Curses imprint continues to go from strength to strength with trademark bass guitars  and musicality which defines both the artist and label. This is perfectly highlighted in ' Betonada' by @SaltoHonduras, the debuting artist is already a well known figure in the Berlin scene in his role at Renate, as a DJ and drummer for the likes of Moscoman and Curses live shows. From this showing soon to make a big splash in the world of production too.
