It's with great pleasure @clubmackan welcomes the Slovenians @RotorMotor to our eighth release on Club Mackan. The EP called 'Ouroboros' features two original tracks with remixes by the Swedish label boss himself-Marcus Christiansen and the fantastic Brazilian producer Neurotiker.

With his signature snares and driving bassline, @marcuschristiansen gives Ouroboros a synthwave-inspired makeover. Huge pads set the mood while the bass and snares drive the track forward until it eventually breaks down into the original ravey chorus.

Motor is a machine that converts electrical energy to mechanical energy. Rotor turns motion into heat. They are RotorMotor ... and the wheel has just begun to turn.

“Maybe it’s Love” tells us a beautiful indie story. The hyper positive melody is carried by a perfectly balanced rhythm, interspersed by FX straight out of the 80’s. Love is in the air ?

The break & dance hit "I don't know", hyper grooving and festive, is enhanced by the voice of the vocalist Neburo, making the track more intimate and giving it a New Wave touch.

Who better than Captain Mustache himself to sublimate “Maybe It’s Love” …? The french producer, propelled in 2022 by a fantastic series of good releases on Bedrock or Kompakt to name a few, literally transforms the original in an electronic body banger !

PREMIERE – Fred und Luna – Eins null eins eins null (Compost Records)

The acclaimed Catalan DJ and producer Esprit Divers is back with "Sanasana," the name of his latest single, which comes accompanied by three impressive remixes, the first by Venice Arms and two versions made by the in-house artists Theus Mago and Moisees.

Esprit Divers, also known as Coyu, has been very active in recent months, and his most recent collaboration with his remix of Sierra Madre's "Cumbres" has been a success. Now, he returns to Duro with "Sanasana," a techno cut that features chopped vocals, revealing pads, and synthesizers that drift you away, while the rhythm keeps you in a trance state.

The first remix, made by Venice Arms, the alternate project of Curses, is forceful, aggressive, and booming. With a retro-futuristic vibe, it's full of resonant synthesizers, alarms, and lasers that take you to another dimension.

The final two remixes, made by Duro's founding artists Theus Mago and Moisees, are equally impressive. The first is a powerful, incandescent, and acid cut with techno and rave influences that make you feel like you're at a warehouse party. The "Fluffy Mix" * that closes the EP, also made by Theus Mago and Moisees, takes you on a dreamlike journey with its resonant arpeggios and sedative pads that transport you between clouds and colours.

Ulla Records is back with another VA: « Shifted Frequencies ».  For our second anniversary, we wanted to treat you with something special, our first physical release on vinyl!

Now you know our mojo: to explore that 80s-inspired, wonky disco sound in all its shapes and forms! From Italo to Acid, EBM or new wave, we wanted to showcase some of the multiple facets of the label, our interpretation of these « Shifted Frequencies ». We gathered a fine selection of talented artists between France, Italy, the UK & Germany, a mix of familiar faces and new encounters.

We’re thrilled to welcome Younger Than Me and REES for the first time on the label and equally so to have Alberto Melloni back with us alongside label founders Austher and Naranja. Altogether, they captured some fragments of our shifted frequencies.

PREMIERE: REES - Cosmos [ULLA]

The release of the 'As Above So Below' EP further cemented You Man's growing reputation for creating deep club tracks that embrace everything from the deepest techno and warehouse rave to global sounds and disco vibes that take the listener to the very reaches of consciousness and beyond.  When the French duo invited Moderna to remix one of the tracks she immediately picked 'Third Eye', saying she "chose the track because she connected with the vocals and felt she could use them in a great way in the remix". After roadtesting the remix on more than one occasion, we can all agree Moderna absolutely nailed it. The remix is a proven -hypnotic- dancefloor heater.

 Like other duos, such as Daft Punk or The Chemical Brothers, Tepat Huleux and Giac Di Falco have been inseparable since they first met at their Calais high school in 1996, bonding over trips across the Belgian border to continue their education at Ghent's legendary warehouse parties. Now under the identity You Man, all their years of learning have enabled the two producers to find their own unique sound which they call "Club Wave", a heady mix of electro club, new wave melodies and dark, deviant and hypnotic disco grooves.
