LUNACY PICKS: Decayed Decadence 2025 by Freudenthal & Cyranotaurus Cortex

Get Physical Music presents Silver Sparks, a magnetic collaboration between Maltese maestro Carl Bee, UK production collective mOat, and vocalist Kyozo — a dark, driving Indie Dance track illuminated by flashes of Disco-inspired energy.

mOat, the enigmatic UK collective, bring their signature depth and cinematic production style, known for releases on Diynamic, Aus, and Armada, and remixes from legends like Âme, DJ Tennis, and Gerd Janson. Their sound fuses emotional resonance with club energy — a perfect complement to Carl Bee’s driving rhythms.

Tying it all together is Kyozo, whose ethereal voice and conceptual artistry add a spiritual layer to the release — transforming Silver Sparks into something more than a dance track: a moment of connection between light, sound, and emotion.

PREMIERE - Berdano - ACIDitious (Disrupted Music)


The French duo Kimshies, hailing from Lille and Paris, unveil their first EP on Polaris, marking the label’s 37th release. Longtime fixtures on Polaris’ radar, the pair deliver an explosive two-tracker blending analogue warmth, retro flair, and pure club energy. Following acclaimed outings on Dust & Blood and Roam Recordings, they continue to refine a sound driven by raw groove and sonic intensity. 

The title track, “Smacking the Beat”, kicks in with crisp drum machines, a thick analog bassline, and robotic vocal hooks that drive its irresistible groove. Distorted synths and shimmering arpeggios give it a vintage edge, while its evolving structure fuels peak-time intensity and late-night euphoria. 

On the flip, “Orgastic” explores deeper territory with a pulsating bassline, hazy vocals, and hypnotic tension. Layers of filtered synths and precise percussion create a sensual, immersive atmosphere, proof of Kimshies’ ability to fuse energy and emotion with finesse. 

With this debut, Kimshies affirm their identity on Polaris, vibrant, organic, and unapologetically alive.

Gisèle Kérozen hailing from Nantes, France, lands for the first time on the label with his EP “Soul Burner” that captures the fleeting temporality of summer, racing forward like a no rules car chase where every moment blurs at high speed.
Blending neo-futuristic sound design with raw kinetic energy, it unfolds in a haze of dust, urgency, and sun-scorched momentum.

Across the EP, rapid rhythms and shimmering textures mirror a mental race, an inner circuit charged with constant stimulation and restless movement.
These tracks navigate between acceleration and release, carving out a vivid sonic landscape where thoughts drift, collide, and surge toward the horizon.
To close this EP, label head Honcho Ludviq, strikes again, now with a “Stoner” version for Soul Burner.

BIO
For a decade, stinia3000 has been working in Leipzig’s cultural scene—primarily as a DJ, booker, and member of a rave crew. In recent years, she has been organizing solidarity parties, because partying for a good cause is important to her—now more than ever in politically unstable times.

Her activism focuses on FLINTA*, Queers, and BIPoC, with her goal being: more visibility for marginalized groups and safer spaces – even behind the decks.

Her music style is genre-fluid—with her you fly through a galaxy of Dark Disco, Wave, Indie Dance, and Acid House, with Italo Disco, 80s, and even Pop occasionally getting caught in the vortex—always driven by the huge fascination with synth sounds.

So, fire up the ion drive and hop on the spaceship!

Forged in Bogotá’s vibrant electronic scene, Pulsac (Camilo Quintero) channels a lifelong fascination with machines, from his first Casio PT-1 in the late 80s to the modular and analog systems that shape his sound today.

Fast Is Never Enough opens the EP with a dark, hypnotic energy driven by pulsating arpeggiators, crackling analog textures, and a fascinating, shadowy voice that cuts through the track like an eerie presence.
