We start a new year by welcoming for the first time Mexican duo Damo Mementto teaming up with Anna Forest on Darlyn Vlys' Polaris.

Combining indie dance and electronic rock, ‘Futturo Desconocido’ is nostalgic and, as the name suggests, ‘futuristic’, taking the audience on a deep and cosmic adventure.
The original is a collaboration with producer Anna Forest and has been remixed with two of the monster names in indie dance, Damon Jee and Rigopolar.

The track gets off to a strong start with a psychedelic base intertwined with hypnotic synths and distorted guitar riffs merging perfectly with Anna Forest’s poetic and evocative Vocals. Blending romanticism, cosmic imagery, and spiritual empowerment, leading the audience to a mesmerizing drop.

Damon Jee raises the tempo with his version of Futturo Desconocido, keeping the vocals but bringing in the drums and reworking the original into a dark, dancefloor-oriented work, with convoluted arpeggios and echoing vocals in a unique remake of the original.

Born in Mexico but based in New York, Rigopolar's mental remix of Futturo Desconocido will take you on a magical journey through time and space with its shimmering, arpeggiated synths, while the deeper cowbells will have you tapping your feet.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Flight Status - Yocantar (TDWS Remix) [BURNING SYNTHS]

The history of electronic music has been defined by a handful of key synth manufacturers. Iconic brands, like Roland, Yamaha, Sequential Circuits and others, have pushed boundaries and blazed trails. But what gives each synthesizer its own unique sound? What makes one synthesizer sound distinctly different from another? And, what would happen if you only used one synthesizer to create a track? The major players of electronics are the building blocks for this music machine homage. Rack Sessions takes one synth and gives it the spotlight, the instrument is the star. The style pursued corresponds to the unique sound of the chosen piece of equipment. Looming silver screen grandeur for “The D (Roland D-550)”, stargazing elegance with “Bell Hope (Yamaha TX81Z) or gentle rolling nostalgia for “MiR (Korg M1R)”, each work is the product of the tool selected. Beats take a backseat on the flip. Open highways and burgeoning dawns are conjured in “802 Nights (Yamaha TX802)” as the listener is transported to the expertly crafted tones of the 1980s. Koolhaas chooses his elements with subtlety, adding colour to his palette to create deeply evocative works. Attack ships cruise in the spatial “SOB (Oberheim Matrix-6)” before the stalker hunts the sodden streets of “MC202’s Act Like They Don’t Know (Roland MC-202)”. The result is an album that is utterly distinctive. An immersive audio journey that guides the listener deep into the sounds of these very special synthsizers and the broad influences of this new talent.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: Jesse Koolhaas - 802 Nights (Yamaha TX802) [BORDELLO A PARIGI]

Originally composed by FK Club featuring Eva Peel for the lyrics, this track is Badknife's reinterpretation- with his betwitching mustache, his short hair and his pimpish look -Badknife is an unusual electronic music producer. He started his career in Paris training musicians on Logic Pro and now on Live Ableton, getting his firts tracks published on HMS records . He now reveals his musical DNA between italo-disco synthetizers & analog house drum machines. We're happy to release this remix on Deviant Disco.

FEINSTOFF PREMIERE: La Notte Di Parigi - Isola (Badknife Remix)

Dina Summer launch into 2025 with the final single, ‘Promise Me’ from their forthcoming album, Girls Gang. Featuring Curses and Joshua Murphy, the captivating new single is released on January 7th via Iptamenos Discos.

‘Promise Me’ is an intense and passionate track that encapsulates the all-encompassing feeling of love. Together, they create a romanticism that deepens the core themes of obsessive love that echoes throughout the Girls Gang album. Beginning as a sorrowful and emotive lament, the track builds emotional intensity, the multi-layers reflecting the complexities of romantic turmoil and desperation, finally erupting in an emotional crescendo.

Dina Summer's new album, Girls Gang, out on January 24th, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2022’s acclaimed 10-track LP Rimini. With releases on labels like Dischi Autunno, Innervisions, Hoga Nord, Throne of Blood, and his own Ombra International label, Curses has become a leading figure in the darkwave scene. His new album Another Heaven (2024) on Italians Do it Better and his genre-defining Next Wave Acid Punx compilations on Eskimo Records cement his reputation as a pioneer of boundary-pushing, cinematic soundscapes.

Joshua Murphy was born and raised in rural Australia, before eventually moving to Berlin and becoming involved in the local scene as a member of various bands (Crime & The City Solution), local promoter and music venue curator released his debut solo EP Lowlands (2022) on aufnahme + wiedergabe.

Taking on a true trance classic and a personal favorite of his, Len Faki takes us back to the golden era of big melodies and early raves, sharing two very distinct interpretations of Firedance by Odyssee of Noises, the prolific production outfit helmed by Ralf Hildenbeutel.

Originally released in 1994 on legendary label Eye Q, this track marked a special period for Faki, when he was fully immersing himself into the scene, and accompanied him through his most formative times as a dancer and a becoming DJ.
Brimming with the iconic elation of those nights, side A keeps with the emotive theme of the original‘s Sunrise version, tweeking only slightly to cater for the needs of these days‘ dancers. Re-shaping the classic to match modern productions for it to be mixed with current bangers, Faki packs the tune‘s anthemic appeal into a propulsive ride down memory lane...

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.
