with a definitely interstellar… cosmic… astral release !

This artist from the south of France has a gift : that of magnifying the analog synthesizers of the 70s/80s with a sensitivity all his own.
Surely inspired by the founding fathers of a new musical era like Jean Michel Jarre or Hiroshi Yoshimura, Panthera expresses a whole retro culture in his music.

The eponym track “Superchampion” is a beautiful and sensitive track, slow but sure. The perfect track to hit the road and get away from it all along the Côte d’Azur.

Clarion is cutted for the dancefloor. The rollin bass and the incredible pads/leads are supported by a powerful kick, a sharp snare and an effective rhythm.
Close you eyes, it’s time to dance !

To close the original tracks, “Cruising” is so sweet. When you listen to that music, you can’t help but think about 80s TV series full of good feelings like “Arnold & Willy” or “Punky Brewster”.
Banger for the heart !

The first remixer is none other than David Carretta himself.
We are really proud that he agreed to contribute to this release. David brings all his talent in the track “Superchampion” to make it a hit between Italo & EBM. A hopeful story of almost 7 minutes at a time when tracks are unfortunately too short to tell great stories…

The last but not the least, the talentuous Doctr drops the second remix !
And it’s the perfect track to complete the release.
As usual, the dutch artist shows his mastery of Italo music.
Dropping perfect Batucada percussions to launch the track and during a crazy break, he brings to the original piece a real vintage but modern side ! Amazing !

shishi - I Start To Lose Control (Fango Remix)

From the Italian seaside town of Trani, Domenico Ventura - aka DayVentura - is virtuously making his debut on the electronic music scene from a meticulous study of all that has gone before, since his musical journey began with the influence of his father's 80s electronic music.

This eclectic mix of influences defines the distinctive sound of DayVentura, which has already reached several dancefloors in Italy, such as in Milan (BASE, Apollo Club, Superlove, Super Club) already being hosted twice by Le Cannibale, Turin (Bunker), in Veneto (Vinile Club, Loco Club) and others among Marche and Puglia, up to the European decks of Arkaoda in Berlin with Slow Motion Records in the format Memory Dance.

Over the years, with the participation of other members, he built Insert Coin: an event reality that brings music and all the Italian and North European imagery of the 80s translated visually and sonically into an 8-bit video game to clubs.
In September 2023, he also began his journey into music production with the project "The Meld Network," on which he collaborated with the Argentinian DJ Mystery Friend. The Meld Network aims to give a more modern and techno-inspired sound to Italian disco productions and related musical influences from the 1980s to the early 1990s.
The first release was 'Protocol Modern Surgery Edits I', a 14-track album (12 edits of dated tracks and two own productions).

His music blends elements of Italian disco, Synthpop, Electro, EBM, New Beat, Acid House, and Techno, resulting in a hypnotic journey through the realms of synthesized elegance and the raw power of retro drum machines. It displays a deep appreciation for sonic diversity and a commitment to creating immersive experiences.
His DJ sets are characterized by a sensual yet powerful sound that creates a captivating and electrifying atmosphere.

ABOUT THE TRACK

Re-interpretation of the Disco Classic "I Feel Love" by Moroder & Donna Summer, the stunning "I Feel Love Medley" by Bronski Beat & Marc Almond was born and still shines under the sign of SynthPop. This 1985 genious three-track-medley produced by Mike Thorne melts perfectly together "Love To Love You" and "I Feel Love" initially by Donna Summer with "Johnny Remember Me" originally by John Leyton, creating an endless journey into the most pure and original SynthPop ever produced, expressed through the powerful voices of Jimmy Sommerville (from Bronski Beat) and Marc Almond (from Soft Cell).
In this slowed-down but strengthened edit by the Italian 24-year-old DayVentura, UK SynthPop's gracefulness meets the rawness, transport, and sensuality of late 80s Frankfurt Techno—all accurately "studied and encrypted" for modern savage dancefloors.

Skelesys joins the Feinstoff Edits roster and Feinstoff asked him about his contribution:

This song has been stuck in my head since I was a kid. For some reason I never had the idea of making an edit before until now.
The vocals and the synths got me very inspired to do my “own” version, a bit more aggressive, adding some synths melodies and guitars.


Argentinian guy Damian aka Skelesys is a versatile, ever-evolving and particularly cutting-edge artist. Born and raised in Buenos Aires, he has freshly settled in the creative surrounding of Berlin. Besides his passion for painting, electronic music has become the center of his artistic life – so he’s a producer and live act with a strong musical background inspired by Hard Rock, Punk, Synth Pop and science fiction or horror movies. Playing drums at the age of three became his first love. After several years of playing in live bands, producing electronic music has opened a whole new world to him that would change his way of hearing, composing and feeling music.
His sound could be defined as haunted and effective, the result of a delicate and neat mixture of disco with techno, marked basses, always accompanied by thriller melodies and subtle grooves surrounded by darkness with a stripped down futuristic vibe

Exclusive: Heidenreich feat. ANGST vor GRETA - Je Palpite (Chinaski Remix)

Berlin-East Frisian Heindenreich, also known as one half of Leggings, a slow Indie-Dance formation with his partner in crime DJ Cremant, challenges Francophile vocalist ANGST vor GRETA for his Je Palpite EP on Dutch label Sinchi Collective. Beside the original version of Je Palpite, the track comes with remixes from Calypso head honcho Thomas Jackson and Robert Johnson mainstay Chinaski, who finally delivers new material after his collaboration with Curses on Dischi Autunno earlier this year. As expected and as fresh as a tropical fruit Chinaski squeezes the Disco-ish note out of Heidenreich's original and exchanges it with more progressive and heavily hitting electroid essences that turn his version of Je Palpite to a kiwano, an exotic warm composition with an edgy and raw musical backbone.

Under thick lashes she surveyed the room, searching it with a stare that could kill. Here, some admired her and others dispised her, as long as they were talking about her she didn't care which way their allegiance lied. Day in, day out she returned, hoping that on the off chance he'd have the courage to come back and show his face. Though if he ever did, he'd have to pay the consequences.

We all know Liepzig is something of a hot bed for incredible music, and a new band to add the frowing list of artists and labels from the German city is New Hook. The three piece female group bring together influences in new wave, post punk and synth pop, creating their own heady, low strung sound. Having contributed to local label Riotvan's Familiar Faces compilation earlier this year, they now make their debut on Curses' Ombra International imprint matching beguiling vocals with seductive synth melodies and woozy guitars.
