Ancient Japanese spirits meet contemporary electronic music in “Yokai Parade EP”, a mystical collaboration between Italian producer Volantis and Japanese artist Hiroko. Inspired by a psychedelic experience in Kobe where train sounds summoned supernatural visitors, this four-track journey merges folklore with modern dance music through a unique blend of hardware synthesis and haunting vocals.

The title track "Yokai Parade" leads listeners into a shadowy realm where Hiroko's Italian narration intertwines with Japanese train announcements, calling forth ancient spirits. Eden Burns transforms this nocturnal tale into a hypnotic, percussion-driven remix that deepens its ceremonial essence.

On "La Kappa”, Hiroko embodies a playful water spirit, her accented Italian dancing over dreamlike sequences. Fabrizio Mammarella's Italorama Version injects classic Italo disco energy, creating a perfect bridge between Japanese mythology and Mediterranean dance floors.

Co-produced with Niccolò Barozzi, this vinyl and digital release captures a unique moment where East meets West, and traditional folklore dissolves into electronic rhythms.

Cathartic and charged compositions are at the heart of this four-track release. Acid-dipped keys are both delicate and direct in the driving highs of Return of the Gecko, a track pulsing with raw energy. The crueler side of the music industry isn’t so much parodied here as it is dismissed entirely—Nackley lets the music do the talking. Sublime Desolation is pure dancefloor dynamite, where synth sirens detonate and explosive rhythm commands movement.

Been A Long Time arrives dripping in attitude. Breaks and a juddering bassline face off with a hustling 303 hook, harmonies weaving through deep sonic textures. Opening the EP, Capricious Society has all it takes to be a hit: emotion, groove, carefully crafted synth stabs, melodic synth-escapades and driving arpeggiators, as well as ethereal sounding vocoders. One track made for those special and emotional moments on the dancefloor.

Dodi Palese takes Capricious Society to festival territory, its ostinatos taking center stage to transform the original into a hypnotic and powerful anthem with a relentless rise of energy. While the original track feels like an emotional dream, the remix adds the power factor to it.

Photons brings another facet of Adnan’s Solar Visions, with heady synths, soaring choirs, as well as epic and emotionally charged chord progressions.

Psychedelic Pina Colada brings is in a more percussive dreamscape, showcasing Adnan’s knack for intricate and catchy melodic patterns, acid synths, and celestial pads—topped off with a mesmerising flute-like lead.

Previously featured on Feed The Void’s fundraising compilation to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Dreamweaver is a poignant closing statement about hope and resilience—serving as a positive reminder that music can inspire change, and hope for better days to come, and we believe through his music, Adnan is the perfect messenger for this purpose.

Berlin-based synth-wave band Dina Summer recently released their highly anticipated second album ""Girls Gang"" via Iptamenos Discos. Donning a decadent sound described by RA as “dark disco meets EBM”, Dina Summer is a collaborative project formed of electro-punk band Frittenbude member Kalipo and dark-disco DJ & producer duo Local Suicide.


The new album is a versatile collection of 11 tracks that delve into themes such as empowerment, outsiderhood, impermanence, nostalgia, and relationships. While their debut album was characterized by its club-centric sound, drawing from Italo disco and '90s electro influences, this new release explores a richer palette of new wave, post-punk, and synth-pop. The sophomore longplayer is more song-oriented, often featuring real bass and guitar, and showcases a more vocal-driven performance from frontwoman Dina, incorporating more singing alongside her trademark spoken words. Yet, it retains the same catchy melodies Dina Summer is known for, offering both indie pop hymns and a few undeniable club anthems.

Prinze - Feelings [Darkroom Dubs]

“Haul” begins with restraint — a pulse that doesn’t announce itself, but insists on beingf ollowed. Its groove is deliberate and tightly wound, circling the listener in slow motion. Synths crackle like broken fluorescent light; the bassline hums low and cold, more vibration than melody.

The track seems less concerned with forward motion than with atmosphere — a sense of suspended time, half-remembered rooms, and sounds that arrive as if from behind a wall. There’s tension in how the elements interact: trance-tinged motifs drift across a landscape shaped by early hardware and the minimalist severity of late-night sets. Nothing resolves.

Instead, “Haul” stretches the moment — holding it just before it tips into something else. That refusal to release becomes part of its pull. Rather than evoke a specific decade, the track feels like a blurred photograph: familiar in texture, but impossible to place. It’s not nostalgia — it’s more like feedback from a memory that never fully formed.

“Haul” doesn’t unfold linearly. It coils inward — a loop of impulse and control, emotion held at arm’s length. The feeling lingers long after the sound fades, like the afterimage of a strobe behind closed eyes.
