Espacio Cielo is proud to present Synthetize, the latest work from Spanish producer and DJ Calystarr. Scheduled for release on April 22, 2025, this EP represents a refined synthesis of diverse electronic influences, carefully crafted into four distinctive tracks.

Calystarr, known for his ability to balance dynamism and depth with elegance and precision, continues to build on his reputation as a versatile and forward-thinking artist. Synthetize showcases his signature approach, blending retrospective elements with modern electronic sensibilities.

The EP features two original compositions: Synthetize and Energy Man. Both tracks exhibit a meticulous attention to sonic detail, exploring rich textures and rhythmic structures that highlight Calystarr’s artistic vision.

Adding further depth to the release, Synthetize receives a remix by Size M, co-founder of Espacio Cielo. His reinterpretation channels the essence of electronic music’s golden era, infusing it with a raw, rock-inspired energy. Energy Man is reimagined by Gameboyz, the acclaimed Spanish duo known for their eclectic and high-energy productions. Their remix amplifies the track’s intensity, delivering a powerful rework that reflects their signature fusion of past and future electronic influences.

Calystarr has steadily established himself as a key figure in the underground electronic scene, collaborating with renowned artists such as James Rod, Parissior, Ilya Santana, and Tronik Youth. His music has been released on respected labels including Golden Soul, When Disco Goes Wrong, Nein Records, and Logical Records. With performances at major festivals such as Electrolunch and Interestelar Sevilla 2025, his impact on the contemporary electronic landscape continues to grow.

Sou curador musical e DJ, com experiência em direção artística e programação de eventos. Fui responsável pela direção artística e programação musical do espaço LES NAUTES, em Paris, onde agenciei artistas como Niv Ast, Mystery Affair, Leonor, Yula Kasp, Full Cast, Jpegmafia, Jacco Gardner, Konnichiwa, The Flashers, entre outros talentos emergentes de destaque.

Como DJ e curador, trabalho com música eletrónica pensada para luzes estroboscópicas e máquinas de fumo. O som que proponho é introspectivo, cru e intenso, com melodias orientais, grooves pesados, sintetizadores “envelhecidos a tabaco” e riffs angulares que falam tanto aos rapazes motards como às raparigas góticas.

É uma estética sonora demasiado distópica para ser chamada disco, demasiado melancólica para ser house, e demasiado musical para ser techno.

Misturo sonoridades pós-disco e wave com a melancolia do new wave.

Procuro criar experiências que desestabilizam a pista de dança, abrindo espaço para o transe, o desconforto belo e a catarse emocional.

O meu universo sonoro bebe do expressionismo, da ficção científica distópica e do romantismo noir. 

Uma rave no meio de um filme de Tarkovski.

I Was in charge of the artistic direction and music programmation at LES NAUTES in Paris, where i booked Niv Ast, Mystery Affair, Leonor, Yula Kasp, Full Cast, Jpegmafia, Jacco Gardner,  Konnichiwa, The Flashers, … among other outstanding rising artists. 

I play electronic music for strobe lights and smoke machines. it's introspective, rugged and raw, with oriental melodies and chugging grooves, tobacco-stained synths and angular riffs that appeal to biker boys and goth girls.
It's too dystopian to be called disco, too melancholic for house, and too musical to be techno. 

Post-disco and wave sounds mixed with the melancholy of new wave.

I seek to create experiences that destabilize the dance floor, opening space for trance, beautiful discomfort and emotional catharsis.

My sound universe draws from expressionism, dystopian science fiction and noir romanticism.

 A rave in the middle of a Tarkovsky film.

Calma Tensa is a project that was created among slow and dark rhythms that come from other times, with the illusion of learning to merge them with the electronic Underground of today.
It is not aimed at attracting large masses but at that small minority that connects in the same way with this kind of music.

How can electronic music be a soul music? The founder DJs of Pure Lust Daniel Santiago and Daniel Ban from Budapest, know exactly this. The secret of their success is to find a mixture of styles that blend downtempo, a little bit of rock, and more spirited folk motifs, on house and electronic basis. This mixture results in a deep yet dancefloor friendly sounds. The secret component is the appropriate proportion of styles. They always tell something through music and give a dynamic and fresh experience to the people. 

Their team involves 3 more local DJs and producers: Mirmur, Kristof Kelemen and Marcello Baptiste. Each of them represents Pure Lust's vision of music, all in an exciting way, including live or hybrid sets.

The team has been a guest of many international performers: 
Acid Pauli, Christian Löffler, Satori, Rampue, Stimming, NU, Parra For Cuva, Viken Arman, Hraach, Just Emma, Be Svendsen, Rodrigo Gallardo, MoM, Britta Arnold, Jacob Groening, Billy Caso, Zigan Aldi to mention a few.
They organise events in local infamous clubs, such as TOLDI, A38, PONTOON and play at many other venues and festivals, like O.Z.O.R.A, Kolorádó.

The guys continuously work or collaborate with local musicians, djs, artists, and collectives doing A&R and this became so important for them that they named the project "Hazai Nyitás", which is also a name for a monthly event series at TOLDI.

I am a French DJ, I am 41 years old, I live in Corsica. My style is a mix of Indie Dance and Dark Disco. I particularly like the "pitchdown", i.e. I slow down the tempo of my tracks! This gives them a completely different aspect.

By this approach, I would like to export myself beyond my island because I feel I have "things to say" in music! Enjoy

His love for 80s and 90s & 00s evergreens was forged in early years deeply influenced by his mother, who ruled over the stereo with an iron grip. These years, saturated with unapologetic pop hooks and synth-driven melodies, became the unshakable foundation of a sound that now bridges darkness and light, present and past.
