Friga is a musical project of Dmitry Friga, musician, composer and sound engineer from Belarus. Author of music for three movies, more then ten theatre plays, member of techno–house project Trockensaft and KDB Records music label. 

FRIGA was created in 2008 by a musician and composer Dmitry Friga.

It is difficult to determine the musical style of the project inside one certain genre. In the first place it is based on the British rock traditions (that's why all songs are performed in English). Sometimes it is hard rock minced through electronic sounds and loops, but after a few songs music covers a listener with a wave of soft lyric melodies, taking roots in the best pieces of pop-rock of 80's-beginning of 90's. It was time, when musicians thought about their music, but not how to perform pop-rock. 

How can you express what you feel when you are walking down the street and music starts playing in your head? When you are listening to it, you feel, the style or instruments, which may help to realize it, are not important. You just listening to the music and don't want it to disappear like many other feelings that come to us and then pass away without a trace. That's how Dmitry Friga's music comes into being. It was created not for the fans of a certain genre. It is like mood pictures frozen in sound, and when you listen to it you can try on the mood of the person who composed it.

Since 2004 I've always been interested in acid sounds of drum and bass, dubstep and electronic music in general like techno, minimal, hardtechno, schranz, etc... In 2008 I became part of the scene of the Rave movement and underground music marking a before and after in my career, I was in groups like Waltrappa Sound System, Aquí No hay Playa and Bolobass Crew, getting to stand out in the national scene ... unfortunately life made me stop, but not why I died, I have re-emerged as the phoenix from the ashes, more professional, more serious, more forceful, wiser. I love electronics and I love to make you feel, I hope you feel with me again. I LOVE YOU!

Desde 2004 me interesé siempre por sonidos ácidos del drum and bass, el dubstep y la electrónica en general como techno, minimal, hardtecno, schranz, etc... En el 2008 entré a formar parte de la escena del movimiento Rave y la música underground   marcando un antes y un después en mi carrera, estuve en colectivos como Waltrappa Sound System, Aquí No hay Playa y Bolobass Crew, llegando a destacar en el panorama nacional...por desgracia la vida me hizo parar, pero no por ello morí, he vuelto a resurgir como el ave fénix entre sus cenizas, más profesional, mas serio, mas contundente, mas sabio. Amo la electrónica y amo haceros sentir, espero que sintáis conmigo de nuevo. OS AMO!

Macho is producer/dj from Slovakia. His name appeared on more than 60 releases till now on labels Punks, LOT49, Diablo Loco, VIM Records, Breaks.sk and others. Several releases hit Beatport Breaks Top 100. First Beatport release on VIM Records - So let's begin was also reviewed by Mixmag - world's biggest dance music and clubbing magazine. Macho cooperated with 4th channel of slovak national radio - RadioFM, where he was preparing night breakbeat mixes and also was member of jury of Radio Head Awards 2011. You can hear his tracks on slovak Radio FM, czech Radio 1 or breaks station like Ibreaks.co.uk, NSB Radio... He played in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria and Serbia clubs including biggest slovak electronic openair gig Beefree. In 2012 he made mixed cd compilation for Wave Magazine. In 2014 he was one of headliners on biggest dance music festival in central Europe Beats for Love alongside Colombo. From his music production is good to mention his remix for Meat Katie on LOT49 and recent release on Diablo Loco, remixed by Wes Smith. He is winner of Punks Music remix competition of Marten Horger track Deeper Down.
