What would happen if you mixed Television Theme songs with a bunch of hungry artists & producers? Well, you would get a new EP of course called "CHANGE THE CHANNEL". Local-Mu12 is a collective of talented Artists & Producers from around the world, founded by Fokis in 2012. Their Debut album "LABOR DAY" was featured on XXL, Complex, TheSource, OnSmash and many other publications. Today the collective lets loose a Free EP that is conceptual and entertaining. It is a breath of fresh air, a project meant to entertain and satisfy the listener who is tired of the same old thing. The project features some of Local-Mu12' past members but also includes some new ones. Zebulon who resides in Ohio, is a red headed spitting machine, Jay Crenshaw out of VA is the sharp lyrical type & Zerry Ziggz of CO has that Stoner, Bone Thugs n Harmony sound to him. Mix it all together and you get pure freshness in the form of a new EP. Now sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

After the success of his last single "Produced By Dr. Dre" Lower East Side emcee/producer,  Fokis drops off a new single called "This Girl From High School".  The track is produced by Fokeezy (Fokis' name as a producer) and features Summit 103.  The single is from his upcoming album "Underground With Commercial Appeal"  which drops 7/21/15. A year Ago I weighed 303lbs, then a friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit and it completely changed my life.  I am down 70lbs and working hard to drop even more."  I was so inspired by my transformation that I created a song about never giving up, over coming obstacles and always pushing forward.  The song is produced by my friend Dahoud Darien who has produced records for Big Pun "Still Not A Player", Jay-Z "Can Knock The Hustle", The Game Ft. Keyshia Cole "Games Pain" and more. Gangrene co-founder, producer/MC Oh No has teamed up with Lower East Side, NYC MC/Producer Fokis for a collaborative project entitled, This Thing Called Life. Produced entirely by Oh No, This Thing Called Life is “An Introspective Look At Life of A Child Born and Raised in the ghetto, determined to make it out.” says Fokis.
