"Cello Dave" Huebner is a professional musician, graphic designer, writer and photographer.  He tours with The Two Tracks, and has recorded and performed in years past with Sweetwater String Band, The Littlest Birds, and his first band Old Coyote Moon.

Where have I been? I've been hanging out on the fringes of Folk Music for years. I have been singing in small venues and writing my own songs since 1976!  Sometimes in the company of other "well-knowns" like Chuck Pyle, Tom Rush, John Denver, and Utah Phillips. So I'll ask it again....where have I been all this time. I chose another path for a while. A PhD and career as a wildlife biologist, raising a family of three (now grown) sons, until 2014.   I blew the whistle on my boss, got fired, got divorced, moved to the small Colorado mountain town of Nederland with my kids, and started writing, performing, recording, and touring full-time. Life has never been better. I learned anew, what I had long-forgotten; that sharing my music with audiences was my "soul".
