Started out of Austin, Texas, now residing in Berlin, Germany, Gravy Jones plans to take intergalactic funk and underground electronic music to the next level. Focusing on using samplers, drum machines, and hardware synths, Gravy Jones tries to bridge a gap between the terrestrial and the ethereal, the Dirty of Southern Hip-Hop with the edgy minimalism of German Electro, the 4 on the floor to the 2-4. While not laying down fat beats, Gravy Jones moonlights as a live music photographer and music video director.
