Rao, with past releases on Denis Horvat’s vokabularium label, has made a name for himself on the local New York scene before recently relocating to Berlin. After taking on opening duties for Jeremy at his Brooklyn show at Avant Gardner’s Kings Hall, Rao is now formally making his Vivrant label debut with ‘The Potential of Light’. 

Commune | Volume 2 is released one track at a time exclusively on Spotify starting Friday, March 24th. The full project is released on Beatport and remaining DSPs on April 28th.

Rao - 'The Potential of Light' [VIV.C002]

Paul Losev returns on 90watts hot on the heels of delivering a stellar remix for Hansgod's Splasher single.

The Miami based producer has made name for himself with releases on Where The Shadow Ends, Be Adult Music and Manual Deep to name a few. He's known for his emotionally charged yet delicate warm melodies, and that's exactly what you'll be hearing when you'll listen this his brand new single 'That Time'.

On remix duties, Erdi Irmak adds a bit of funky flavor to the mix. Keeping the melodic organic feel of the original close to his chest, but adding a very infectious guitar loop and some additional strings, his version is a great addition to Paul's lovely original!

He has worked with the likes of Solarstone, Hybrid, Hernan Cattaneo, Tripswitch, and many others. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. Forerunners music is about the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJs the likes of Guy J to Paul van Dyk and everyone in between. This is what electronic dance music is all about.
