For our 12th release, we have the return of our talented friend from USA: Forerunners, who is back on our label with a stunning EP.
His trademark sound is shown at 'Vacant Deception' (Original Mix), where the chunky beats are joined with subtle melodies and dreamy vocal samples, a proper club track to kick off the EP.
For the first remix, we welcome Subandrio (Global Mission/Sudbeat/Replug/PD/Lowbit) to our label. Subandrio is one of the most versatile and knowledgeable pioneers in the underground global music scene. 
His version of 'Vacant Deception' is an hypnotic percussive number, that builds on and on, another finest example of underground electronic music.
The final remix, marks the debut of our talented Australian friend: Rich Curtis (SexOnWax/Sudbeat/Proton/Stripped) who delivers a top remix with a more upbeat approach. Perfect for the dance floor. [We Are The Underground]

Vacant Deception

Part of their successful twin-track "Leviathan" EP, "Akyoomen" showcased the Lanvary production talent in a wonderful collage of bouncing rhythms and rippling melodies. As Particles now returns to the track, a pair of new remixes from Egypt and the Netherlands strikes a new chord with the original mix.

An Egyptian producer whose modus operandi centres around 'the harmony that results from diversified beat, sounds, rhythms and melodies", Amr Khaled's Fulltone soubriquet stems from the "perfect unity" when all elements combine in magical fashion. An artist with a notable portfolio to his name, a full original EP debut appeared courtesy of the "Reflect EP" for Beachside Records in August 2013. Going on to amass a raft of original production credits, Seven Villas, Dream Culture and L'enfant Terrible have all featured the Fulltone name. Further work for Souq Records' "Darb Compilation" has seen a collaborative partnership with Safism blossom into a quartet of highly original tracks that are bursting with innovative melodic content and world music credentials. Basing his remix on a new and chunky rhythmic framework, the Fulltone rework of "Akyoomen" is replete with luscious melodic phrasing that rises out of a sparkling new piano arrangement and soft string progressions. Cleverly reinterpreting Lanvary's original, an array of additional production material creates a unique and original piece that flows from the Fulltone production studio in gorgeous aural colour.

Dutch producer, Dominique Vijverberg, has been at the forefront of the underground scene in 2017. Through his Deeparture production pseudonym, the Amsterdam based artist has created a persona that has shone brightly with a raft of original production material. A year that began with the release of March's "Purcer EP" for Weiter, went on to see further airline inspired works in the four-track "Attendant EP" for Cinematique in May. A regular in the clubs of his hometown and a reputation that has begun to rise at rapid rate, support from the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur and fellow countryman, Eelke Kleijn, has given a further lift to the Deeparture name. May 2017's Proton Music debut saw the twin-track, "Flight of Imagination" take to the skies to critical acclaim as Deeparture now debuts on sister label, Particles, with his remix of Lanvary. Redolent in the rich melodic underpinnings that are central to his work, the Deeparture remix flows with dance floor joy as a bouncing bass groove, strong kick and crisp percussive cadence combine with a plethora of additional production work. Using the foundations of "Akyoomen" to strong effect the stuttered vocal melody is brought fully to the fore as a new motif sits alongside the dynamic groove, in sparkling fashion.

Making sound judgement with their remix treatments, Fulltone and Deeparture have crafted a wonderful sonic "Akyoomen" from Lanvary's music.

Exactly a year ago label's boss Horizons explored the dark side of Romania finding himself fascinated by the peaceful wide valleys of Densuș. Up on one of the hills, through the thick darkness of an early morning day, there it emerges Saint Nicola's Church, possibly the oldest Romanian church to date. As the first rays of the sun embraces the valley, Horizons' journey turns into a deep emotional story that kicked off with a Gothic intro and evolved into a solid progressive tune that eventually disclosed a pure Trance essence. This is how "The Lights of Densu" came out to the light into Horizons studio and was then given out as a free Christmas gift. That tune sees now a unique Remixed edition package to celebrate our label's 10th release. 
We've turned your Progressive experience into gold thanks to the impressive works by Forerunners and GMJ, who have carefully crafted two outstanding Progressive masterpieces. Forerunners remix captured the main dark essence of the original mix and added his unique Progressive iconic sound into a superb long journey from which you don't want to come back anymore. GMJ's Luminous touch shows once more the top notch artist he his, delving into the unexplored corners of the Progressive House in order to craft a sensational dark melodic tune.

A-Jay is an electronic music Producer and DJ based in Sri Lanka. His special spin on funky tech, minimal tech, tech-house and deep techno have garnered him a name as one of the freshest sounds in the region today.

A decade ago, A-Jay began to discover his passion for electronic music, closeted in the confines of his bedroom experimenting with Virtual DJ and TRAKTOR, he began to play around with hip-hop beats and grooves, teaching himself the craft of music production.

In 2010, A-Jay’s discovered house music. Hip-hop abandoned, he began to experiment with EDM, learning from other expert DJs and producers of the craft in Colombo. The following year, A-Jay saw himself on the decks for the first time, dropping a tech-house set to what would go on to become his first fan base.

Today he has over 15 original releases and remixes, signed to record labels across the world. He has also played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Above & Beyond, Jay Tech, Manuel De La Mare, Dinka, Marco.V, Eve Carey, Jeremy Orlander, Kintar, Hollen and Olivier Giacomotto, among others. Recently, one of A-Jay’s originals were also dropped by maestro Stefano Noferini on his radio show in Italy. In December 2016, A-Jay’s remix of Gold Finger (StoKed) made it to the #3 position on Beatport’s Top 10 Minimal Tech releases for the year.

A-Jay’s sets are filled with raw energy, delivered with a smile. And you can’t help but move to his addictive groove. His infectious personality and undeniable taste in music are a lethal combination for biggest of events and wildest of nights.

Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 15 years, with remixes and originals on Pure Progressive, Sudbeat, Anjunadeep, Onedotsixtwo, Silk Music, Perfecto, and others. He has worked with the likes of Solarstone, Hybrid, Hernan Cattaneo, Tripswitch, and many others. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. Forerunners music is about the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJs the likes of Guy J to Paul van Dyk and everyone in between. This is what electronic dance music is all about.
