The introduction to a multi-part series featuring a style of psytrance almost always included in my live DJ sets in recent years, but never documented publicly with emphasis.  "Dark Psy-Tech" is the sweet spot where Forest, Darkpsy, and Hi-tech intersect, and you'll hear BPMs range anywhere from the high 140s to mid 160s.  Rather than release one long epic set, I decided to split things up into more digestible listening chapters - and with the copious amount of material on hand, expect atleast 4 parts to this series - with plenty of fresh & unplayed tracks left to deliver for live dancefloors (as well as timeless blasters featured here) :-D  The depth, persistent groove, atmospheric elements, and psychedelic attributes of this style have been perpetually inspiring to me, and dancefloor approved - and thus absolutely worth sharing in a dedicated fashion.  Hold on to your hats, folks....this journey inward will not be lacking in intensity nor lid-flipping stimulation :-D
