Cincinnati via Nottingham DJ-producer @glacci is gearing up to release a fresh, high-octane EP titled 'Nightshade' via Mad Decent's "baby cuzzin" imprint, @goodenuff.

Putting his own twist on the sounds and styles of early '90s UK garage and happy hardcore, the five-track EP is a psychadellic exercise of old school rave influences beautifully meshing with new, energetic sonics - resulting in a sound that is entirely retrofitted for the rave

Ahead of the five-track EP's release on June 12, Glacci has handed over @drjeep's heaving remix of his tune 'XTC Sunstroke'. 

“I’m a big fan of this mix," says Glacci. "It reminds me of some super tripped out old UK dubstep which I love. It definitely has Doctor Jeeps sound written all over it, I couldn’t have asked for a more banging remix.”

Cosmic Bridge's club focused 'Earthbase Series' continues with 'Nocturnal' the new release from Russian producer A.Fruit. Four tracks that fuse Footwork, Drum'n'Bass, Techno and bold sound design into the 160 BPM framework. After a heavy hitting set of releases via Russian imprint Hyperboloid, Irish modern trendsetters Rua Sound, and the ever vigilant Med School, so please welcome A.Fruit to the Cosmic Bridge roster. 

Label boss Om Unit says: "Anna has a rare ear in this 160bpm world; one foot firmly in the techier sound-design lane, and one in the world of fun dance floor sounds. Well mixed, and not too serious! It's great to have her on board and we look forward to sharing a stage soon!" 

Kicking things off is 'Make Them Shake’, a hypnotic and contorted expression of footwork with bubbling bass and drum FX - only for the boldest of dancers. ‘Polykarp’ comes complete with rugged old school hardcore chops twisted into a technoid stepper.  'Deep Insight’, is reminiscent of early Moving Shadow Jungle; hypnotic & minimalist with tight drums, glitches and jazzy late night moments. Closing track ’Before You Go’ is a breaks filled, garage-footwork workout; cheeky vocal cuts and rolling syncopated rhythms for your waistline!

It's our favorite time of year! NYC/LA-based Worst Behavior Recs is back with their third annual compilation, "Worst Behavior, Vol. 3" and we couldn't be more excited. With the expert guidance of producer/DJ/promoter/label bosses Anna Morgan and Bell Curve steering the ship, we watched Worst Behavior come speeding out of the gate in 2018, and that momentum has shown no signs of slowing. With three compilations and several single releases under their belt, featuring BnC favorites like DJ Madd, Sinistarr, Samurai Breaks, A. Fruit, and many more, the label's output has been consistently high-caliber. When we think of uptempo bass music imprints in North America, especially in that sweetspot between footwork and jungle with a touch of rave and soundsystem culture, Worst Behavior is undoubtedly holding the torch.

Our premiere today from their third compilation offering comes from another BnC favorite: Leicester, UK's Jon1st. After originally gaining popularity for his phenomenal turntablism (see his 2013 Online DMC World Championship title or official routines for folks like Ivy Lab for credentials), Jon has been focusing more heavily on production the past several years, and it shows. His work with Copenhagen-based Shield has taken the global beat music scene by storm (if you have a chance to catch their live performance, don't miss it!) and his collaborations with folks like DJ CRAZE, EAN, and BSN Posse have been running the circuit in DJ sets and radio shows all over, too. However, today's offering comes in the form of the debut solo production from Jon1st, "Rose Point". A melodic double-time tune clocking in at 160 bpm with touches of amen breaks and footwork percussion that will be sure to get you moving in your seat, "Rose Point" was more than worth the wait for solo Jon1st material.
