Born in Siberia, raised in Minsk/ Belarus, Ognib is a new artist to the Deep Heads family. 

Ognib has been producing for over 10 years now and his experience in production is on full display within his music.
With influences from the likes of J Dilla, DJ Krush, Flying Lotus, Synkro & DjRUM to name a few, his recordings are diverse and crisp on the ear.

His debut EP here is a fantastic journey of sounds that sits comfortably within the Deep Heads ethos of music.
Weighty, atmospheric productions, with stunning composition work, are present throughout.
Technically the productions are masterfully presented, with an attention to detail on the music sonically that are wonderfully hypnotising.

Here's the second installment of the Sunstrumental, a raw-dirty-neck breakin'-instrumental-beats 7'' series by the tireless hiphop multitasker Sunnysun. As the journey continues, all the signs point towards a classic, dope on plastic trilogy in the making... 

The tracks on this double sider are still banged out on his MPC. Vol. 2 kicks off with "Fizikal Funk", a nod to the school of boom bap with a rhythmical twist. The title of the flip side "Dance Battle" unambiguously tells it all. It reflects Sunny's heavy immersion in the hiphop dance community. 

Sunnysun is an all-rounder: as a teenager he quickly established himself as a versatile MC with impeccable freestyle skills, then shifted towards deejaying and when he's not dealing seeds and other growing equipment, producing rap videos or setting up his record shop, he's tapping on his MPC. It's a 360 degrees hiphop hustle.

High-BPM luminary and Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) alum HomeSick remains a standout in global electronic culture. Having worked alongside industry icons including Suzanne Ciani, Just Blaze, Mike Banks, and Sheila E, he’s also performed at major festivals including Sonar, Shambhala, and Bass Coast, where he made his Boiler Room debut in 2022. His 2020 early AI-powered project ‘FAKE’ earned recognition from Boiler Room’s 4:3 network and CBC, a testament to his innovative approach and future-facing fascinations.

In early 2024, HomeSick released ‘1000dB Stare’ on celebrated UK indie label Exit Records and launched volumes 2 and 3 of the ‘Calibration’ series.  Since relocating to Montreal in 2023, he has quickly built a reputation in Eastern Canada, magnetizing new fans and headlining sold-out shows. Collaborations with LA-based label EVAR Records and a creative residency with Berlin-based soundbenders Kling Klang Klong are just the latest entries in a journal of boundary-breaking ambitions that show no sign of slowing.

2025 sees HomeSick on a packed release schedule and a world tour across Europe, the UK, and Latin America, redoubling his commitment to pushing international dance culture.
