DJ Dark Shadow verbindet magische Loops, unendliche Sound-Variationen und deepe Klangornamente zu einem intensiven »Music Journey« der episch-supernaturalistischen Machart. Seine Sets als Resident im »Omaha Stage«–Soundgarden Zella-Mehlis zeichnen sich durch extreme Länge und olfaktorische Momente aus. Nach dem Re-Launch einer erste Onetrack-EP auf »Testical Rec.« im Jahr 2017 hat er eine Vielzahl an Kooperationen und Nebenprojekten kuratiert bzw. behindert: zu den »Real-Tuner«-Pionieren »Rasmo & Dr. Woop« besteht eine lose Beziehung, eine 12inch-Auskopplung b2b mit den Gebrüdern »Klangmajor a.d.« ist für 2023 angekündigt. Der Hausvertrag bei »Random Gizmo Records« seit 2019 dürfte zudem neuen Projekten weiteren Auftrieb verschaffen. Clubdates sind hingegen für 2022 bereits jetzt nicht geplant, ein langjähriger Rechtsstreit mit Resident Advisor Limited befindet sich in der zweiten Instanz. Neben seiner Nebentätigkeit als long-time Producer einschlägiger Rythmus-/Percussions-Samples betreibt er in Senftenberg erfolgreich einen Heimwerkerbedraf — und setzt auch hier eigene Akzente: Hohlraumdübel für unter 1,50€ / Stück!

After successful releases on KitoKat Records and having ended up on the podiums of remix contests for Shlømo, Hadone and, more recently, the Dynamic Reflection label, Clarence Rise is proud to present you his first album! It will be released digitally on all platforms, but also on an elegant smoked cassette tape with a custom-made slipcase.

On the verge of collapse, false prophets are the masters of our streets, which have once again become the ill-famed boudoirs of an era we thought was over. They lavish the naive with the hope of a redemption that will never come, but feed on the fear of the other and of tomorrow. They erect protective towers without windows, but do not see the water rising in the avenues. Their followers dream of finding the now indescribable sensation of cold on their skin. Slaves of this blind faith, they break all ties with their environment, their land, and their free will.

While they were at the source of our uncontrolled skidding, new tangential beliefs may emerge. How many will be the fools running to listen to the last verses of their idols. How many will be the others seeking peace of the moment rather than the reminiscences of the past?

Ephemeral Distance was started in 2020 by Yorgos Kourtis as an alternative way of approaching others and understanding himself. For him, techno music is a means of communication, a way to travel into space-time, a starting point for an evolution process.
His style is atmospheric, deep and hypnotic techno with powerful dark
soundscapes, constant rhythms, and overwhelming trancelike, groovy and synthwave intervals – characterized by exquisite musical taste and capable of arousing countless strong emotions.
