Born and raised between the fantastic mountain valleys of the Italian Dolomites and the industrial city of Ludwigshafen in Germany.
Spent most of his childhood playing in the woods. This past still connects him inseparably from nature and its forms of life. He tries to convey this feeling of the infinite timelessness of the soul of nature with music in an understandable language. Words can only approximate this.
His DJ sets are always driving, ritualistic. Natural sounds and hypnotic melodies allow the listener to reach another state of consciousness. This is how he describes his vision: “when time and space lose their meaning, when everyone is connected in unison to the music, united in one energy bubble, then the perfect state is reached.
No thought separates us from the great unit. Only knowledge and joy move us to the beat“. His productions are experimental, unorthodox. Since he is not a musician, he uses this "ignorance" and the freedom that results from it. Hypnotic rhythms and driving beats characterize his tracks, always filled with natural sounds.
The listener is transported in a space that seems to exist between the stars. Deep in his heart he believes in infinity and that time and space are only imaginations. His goal is to express these inner feelings with music, so in 2021 he set out to develop his musical language.
“This journey will be endless, full of universes yet to be explored and they are all within us“.

Opening with 'Nothing And All', the EP immediately plunges into a vast soundscape. A dense chord progression glides over a tight rhythmic pattern, propelled by a pulsating bassline that commands attention. The track unfolds patiently, allowing each element to breathe, setting the tone for the journey ahead. 'Night Before Spring Comes' follows with a more spacious and contemplative approach. Its steady tempo is wrapped in layers of crackling static, evoking a sense of aged transmissions echoing through time. The minimal yet deeply effective composition leans into classic dub techno aesthetics, giving a hypnotic experience that lingers. With 'Gradientes', Deemkeyne shows a techier edge. Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and @dublucid in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on @lucidflow, a label founded by @nadjalind and @helmut-ebritsch, also known as @klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on @piranha-siberia, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.

Currently, with countless remixes, singles, compilations, and his entire body of work focused on Dub Techno, Giuliano has centralized all his releases under one label: DUBLUCID.
