While many of the new generation of DJs lean toward faster BPMs and high-energy dancefloor sounds, @eva1nsssssss takes a different path—delving deep into the heavy, 70 BPM currents of dubstep for her own free-flowing explorations.

Based in Shanghai, eva1nsss—also known as Nuòzi—is captivated by the boundless possibilities of bass music. From drifting through clubs in her early days to her current sonic experiments, she has always treated low frequencies as her foundation—layering them with playful drums, fractured vocals, and unpredictable textures. The result: immersive, experimental soundscapes that are constantly evolving.

Ghozt is a New York/Connecticut–born deconstructed/experimental artist sculpting caustic club architectures. Their work fuses industrial grit, jungle, dariacore, sub-heavy dubstep, hard-drum kinetics, and deconstructed club with a focus on the macabre horror of the dancefloor. Their mixes are defined by harsh atmospheres, scorched distortion, and punishing drums that collapse between euphoria and dread, re-forming into complex structures and emotional dialogues along the way. Ghozt has released music under Stranacorpus, Marmint Agency, Jahanam, and Tabula Rasa, and has an upcoming album releasing in the near future.

For this mix, Ghozt unleashes some of the most frenetic and harsh sounds within their library: unreleased and published cuts of their own work woven into electronics from their contemporaries. Expect to be dragged between adrenaline, trepidation, and cathartic release; a ruthless study in tension from one of the scene’s most uncompromising voices.

For Issue 0003, Side B, Little DD and 阿帶 explore rhythm futurism in depth.

'Break the grid.' This is the quiet motto behind this B-side, and it is a clear illustration of their method. Rather than building tension in a linear fashion, they follow the swing, with each shuffle, off-beat accent and idea pulling the next into place until a new geometry emerges.

This B-side is a dialogue between ADEAD's other aliases — little DD and 阿帶 — each offering a different perspective on the same obsession. Together, they transcend 4/4 orthodoxy to create something more human: broken beats, broken pressures, pocketed grooves and syncopations that are as thoughtful as they are rhythmic.

It’s music for the mind and body: easy to dance to and impossible to zone out to. It's a reminder that in a world flattened by the grid, we need more groove and swing.

@444-607214408 's new mix is a meditation on facing death—heavy on the bass, breath held, and unflinchingly intimate.

To the casual observer, he may appear to be a heavy hitter seeking shock value. Wrong. Specialising in emotive, hard-hitting bass music, he has spent years refining a language in which noise, sustained vibration and silence are as expressive as drums. At Dawless Teahouse, he explores audiovisual and interactive practice, and with P.J.E.T., he contributes to radio and offline gatherings. His recorded work shows range: the conceptual album El Poema Inacabado (Genome6.66Mbp), the EP Oxygen Activation (Shy People), the FarEastScala EP 战歌, and appearances on compilations from Absurd Trax, C.T.M. and SAFEROOM.

As the title suggests, this session focuses on life and death: an hour of intense emotion and lingering resonance, marked by grief yet illuminated by determination. It was forged amid personal upheaval: the pain of a loved one’s impending death, isolation and immovable walls. Words failed, but sound didn’t. Here, serrated textures meet a tectonic low end, drones blur into a drumless trance and eruptions of distortion give way to a fragile afterglow. The flow is less about genre than revelation: each transition a small reckoning; each motif a pulse of memory.

Conceived as part of an A/V show with visual artist Nicolò Cervello, ‘Kitbashing’ marks ABADIR’s third album for SVBKVLT.

A growing number of people spend an extensive amount of time watching, scrolling, liking, commenting on and sharing content, whilst at the same time feeding a constant stream of personal data to social media platforms. Social media can be fun and informative, or draining and dark. Either way, their algorithms are purposefully designed to lock users in a continuous state of scrolling. The more time spent online, the more desires, interests and emotions are fed into the algorithm for consumerist ends and reality is reduced to a timeline of curated aesthetics.

Using audio snippets from reels, suggested posts, and sponsored ads, sound objects are cut, micro-edited and meshed together into a collage. Tension is built gradually before falling into a release. Rhythms keep expanding and contracting, simulating the pace of random scrolling on mobile devices. ‘Kitbashing’ is an attempt to break the algorithm: subverting the dynamics by feeding on the algorithm instead of only feeding it.
