Andrea Cavani and Fabio Dall’oglio are we.amps (weird amplifiers). Both are resident DJs of This Is Not party series since 2012 and started collaborating in September 2016. Spanning from House to Techno, with clear Acid and Old school sonority and fresh attitude to the Disco sound, they can easily be marked as humble and devoted music lovers.

Lukas Ivancin, known professionally as BEATFOOT, is a Slovak electronic music producer and DJ based in Prague.
Uniting the sounds of house, downtempo and modern dance music with a deep, energetic, and futuristic feel is his typical signature.
His dreamy sounds are influenced by artists such as Bonobo, Darius, and Yuksek.

Green Haze EP is typical blissful Beatfoot’s  production. Three very organic deep house/balearic/downtempo gems full of live instrumentation of Rhodes piano, airy sax, funky guitar and soulful vocal. And there is also decent and more club oriented remix of Green made by Vivacity Music co-owner Cubik.

Katerina is a Finnish Bulgarian artist. She runs labels Émotsiya and Kotarak releasing music from the likes of Sansibar and Exploited Body. She’s an active touring DJ and a producer releasing music on labels such as Running Back, Cómeme, Hivern Discs, Tigersushi and Rhythm Section. This is the first remix she has done of Construction. 

“I was nervous when I started making this remix, as I'm always, because I care so much about music and I want to achieve something special. I want people to feel what I'm feeling. w That tension you feel throughout your body when you meet someone that captivates you or those moments of excitement before a really good audience that ultimately strips you of all of your fears,” says Katerina.

ABOUT CONSTRUCTION

Construction is an electronic music collaboration between Nadya Peek and Marko Ahtisaari. Peek and Ahtisaari met at MIT while fabricating on a large CNC mill. The original track Nervous is from the band's second ep WE'RE GREAT THANKS FOR ASKING (2020) produced by Pat Dillett (David Byrne, Brian Eno, St. Vincent) and mastered by Guy Davie (Jon Hopkins, King Krule, Four Tet). It was recorded while the band was working in the evenings at their friends' Nervous System design studios who created the generative cover art for the remix. 

ABOUT NERVOUS SYSTEM

Nervous System is a generative design studio that works at the intersection of science, art, and technology. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena, they create computer simulations to generate designs and use digital fabrication to realize products. Their studio is located in the Catskills in Palenville, NY.

Burger Steaks third release for us is here! Again, he delivers his own flavour of slowed down DnB beats, Electro and vintage soundtracks. Brain Fog, an attention-catching, dark and jazzy tune with unexpected musical changes is packed with a crazy mix of chelli, sax and trumpets while the punchy drum set will make your dancing shoes glow. Bunker Base feels almost like a pop song out of Rosemaries Baby. It’s church-chorus hook line, flute solos and distorted acid bass make it a pretty wild combination of instruments that are not necessarily heard together much. A wild release that we hope you like as much as we do.

Salma is a multi-genre Tunisian DJ/ Music Producer and Sound Artist based in Berlin. Through her music, she navigates home, nostalgia, and identity. Her practice centers on FLINTA* & BIPoC solidarity as well as crafting sets that are personally resonant and politically aware.

Chtih w Rdih is a five-track sonic exploration of a fractured psyche navigating the modern world. It captures the central duality of the uncontrollable hustle and creative mania of the city, contrasted with an unbothered state of effortlessly flowing through chaos.

The EP reflects this internal conflict through a powerful fusion of explosive breakbeats and deep, hypnotic grooves. Intricate Arabic percussion and melancholic melodies from the oud, violin, and qanun are woven throughout, creating a soundscape that is both ancient and futuristic.
