Oh yea, totally in agreement with Belial's L&R comparison. Drums are reminding me of the songs on that self named album in the late 80s (with Motorcycle on it). Immediately made me want to go back and visit those well loved albums. :)

It was created exclusively using the now obsolete Camel Alchemy Mobile app.

It was my favorite and first app that I used when returning to music after a 14 year break from Blink Twice. (abandoning hardware and selling my gear)

Alchemy only had a 4 track sequencer, but I made the most of it. This particular piece uses 2 tracks for synths, 1 track for percussion, and 1 track with the voice sample. What Alchemy excelled in was it's incredible synth engine and ability to morph sounds in realtime with it's x-y axis screen control. I fully went all out with this feature on this track, resulting in a similar effect to knob twisting on modular synths.

I greatly miss this app, but Apple bought out Camel, and as a result they did not update this app. They instead included an extremely watered down version of the Alchemy synth engine in their Garageband app.
