I grew up in the north woods, been listening to classic country and folk music ever scince I was a young, i also really like a lot of southern rock and alternative like Jason isbell, I draw a lot of inspiration from people like Cash, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Wyatt Flores, tanner usury, Garth  Brooks, Randy Travis, Jake Kohn,treaty oak revival.

Originally hailing from the Scottish town of Greenock, Strakerbarlow AKA Gareth O’Neill is a Perth WA-based singer/songwriter who is driven to get his songs out into the world.  
O’Neill was for many years a guitarist in various bands, but when pandemic complications skittled the last outfit he was playing in, he felt compelled to step forward as an artist in his own right. 
“I think when you're in a band it’s one of the best things in the world, but it also can be like trying to steer a cruise ship,” O’Neill says. “I feel like I'm getting to the age where I don't really have time for compromise. I just want to do it myself, the way I think it should sound.” 
That sound is earthy yet atmospheric. Ethereal at times but of flesh and blood and borne of a diverse range of influences, from the Rolling Stones to Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and a melange of ‘60s UK folk. 
"There’s quite a bit of darkness in the songs,” O’Neill notes. “They can be quite cinematic, which I think really comes from the Bad Seeds. I really loved when they used to do those driving, Ennio Morricone type songs. 
“I also really like John Martyn, Bert Jansch and Nick Drake, those guys really influence how I play acoustic guitar. I think quite visually. I really enjoy arranging my music so it sounds like it could be in a film, evoking something sinister and atmospheric.”
O’Neill’s songs evoke a feeling of twilight and that moment of reflection before night falls is there to embrace in songs such as Push Against The Sun, the weaving, open-tuned guitars embracing the lyrics that were inspired by Justin Cronin’s post–apocalyptic book, The Passage.
“It's about two people who stay up all night by a fire, and they’ve both fallen for each other,” O’Neill explains. “They're both kind of feeling each other out, to see if something will happen... two people who don't want the night to end, basically.”

With an enormous support group of musicians/friends including AJ Pantaleo, drummer of The Jazztronauts (and who can also be heard on records with Baked and Bueno), the band succeeds in not just playing songs but creating the atmosphere in which they dwell. Adding to the sonic landscape on past recordings is Will Schalda on piano/keys (Billy Swivs) and Paul Schalda on guitar and backup vocals, bringing instant chemistry from previous projects together (Paul & The Tall Trees). 

As a live act, the band can go from light and airy to gritty and tight, sometimes trading in their sweet polished sound for a more clunky indie-rock vibe which often demonstrates the real strength of their music: concise, well-written songs and undeniable musical chemistry… in the tradition of the great American songwriters... with the universal appeal of straight rock and roll.

His new EP, 'Memory Aisle', is a collection of songs conceived and developed over the last few years while working from home and finding new ways to record and layer ideas. The songs reflect on the past and look forward to a future of new paths and formative experiences.

TuneTrax is a very simple concept: Help independent musicians by giving them the tools and the platform to directly connect with their fans and distribute their music digitally — online. However, as we all know, a musician will not go very far without dedicated music fans. So we devised a way for music fans to be just as interactive as our music artists.

Jessica Smucker believes that the best way to change the world is to channel our pain into connection. Her songs have a way of reaching deeply into people's souls and inviting the kind of reflection that feels both reassuring and unsettling. Wrapped in catchy melodies, her lyrics appear simple and relatable on the surface, but each listen will uncover more hidden pockets of nuance. She's the kind of writer and performer who can lull a noisy room into a hush with a single line. 

Although Jessica cares deeply about big picture issues like social justice, she tends to write about life's more intimate moments. How it feels to walk through an empty house after love has left it. The difference between carrying a child in the womb and mothering them in the world outside. The particular ways a happy marriage can slide into decline. The simultaneous rush and terror of falling in love. The way humans can hunger for things (like peace on earth, or god) we don't even believe in. The tricks and techniques we all use to shield ourselves from the kinds of knowledge that might lead to pain.

Jessica is based in Lancaster, PA, very near the tiny rural town of Bird-in-Hand where she grew up. Two of her grandparents were born Amish, and she was raised in the Mennonite faith tradition - by a family full of storytellers, activists, adventurers, and pranksters. Although her town was small, the bigger world never seemed out of reach. She felt empowered to engage and explore it.

Jessica has toured nationwide, and performs regularly throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S. She has opened for Cheryl Wheeler, Susan Werner, and Bill Staines, and shared billing with Heather Maloney, Meghan Trainor, and the Stray Birds. Notable venues include the Tin Angel (Philadelphia), Godfrey Daniels (Bethlehem, PA), The Cellar Stage (Baltimore), Steel City Coffeehouse (Phoenixville, PA), World Cafe Live (Philadelphia), Muses in the Vineyard (Belvidere, NJ), Musikfest (Bethlehem, PA), and 30A Songwriters Festival (Santa Rosa Beach, FL). She has won or placed in numerous national songwriting contests including SolarFest's Singer/Songwriter Showcase Competition, the Connecticut Folk Festival Song Competition, and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. 

Her discography spans from 2008-2020 and includes two EPs and three full-length albums. The Sleeping World (2008), a self-titled EP released by Jessica's first rock band, was recorded by Seventh Wave Studio in Harrisburg, PA. 2010 saw two releases, both recorded in Lancaster, PA basement studios: Reluctantly Yours (EP), a stripped-down acoustic recording featuring mostly piano, violins, and banjo; and This Broken Moment (LP), a full-band album released as Jessica Smucker & The Sleeping World. It wasn't until she started working with producer Chad Kinsey in 2012 that Jessica really found her stride as a recording artist. Tumbling After (2014) was produced by Kinsey and features bassist Mike Bitts (The Innocence Mission), drummer Paul Murr (Jeffrey Gaines, Fauna Flora, Jackie Evancho), and guest vocals by Heather Maloney (appearing courtesy of Signature Sounds Recordings) and Keith Wilson (Movies With Heroes). Lucid Stories, Tentative Lies, recorded with the same production team, dropped in October 2020, followed by an irreverent Christmas single, "Let's Get a Tree" in December.  

In her life beyond music Jessica is a published poet and essayist, a social justice warrior, freakishly good at Scrabble, and mother to two of the smartest people she's ever met in real life.

Stéphane made his guitar debut at a young age and was quickly drawn to the complex styles of music from great guitarists, such as Edward Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, etc.

His theoretical knowledge grow from guitarist Stéphane Dufour. He developed a passion for composition and he loves to create instrumental pieces that allow him to convey his emotions with the help of his guitar.
