Glo Phase is the solo project of professional composer and multi-instrumentalist, Joseph Rusnak. Glophase’s new album “Blink” invites listeners into a world of live, vibrant, and captivating electronic music where spontaneity shines. His live performances imbue the music with a vibrant interplay of spontaneity and unpredictability, as he wields a rich assortment of hardware and software tools, orchestrating immersive live sets that transcend creative boundaries.

With a collection of releases on esteemed labels such as 100% Silk, Stasis Recordings, Whiskey Pickle, and Image Research, Glo Phase consistently strikes a delicate balance between dreamy atmospheres and danceable rhythms.

Following December’s amazing Helios EP (Optimo Music), Argentina’s finest, Lux & Hermetics return with the incredible four track Aurora EP, released 18th April on Otherness.

Lux (Lucas Chaumont) and Hermetics (Santiago Nino) have been friends for over a decade and almost inseparable for the last three. The duo share a deep fraternal love for philosophy, psychology, spirituality and the esoteric, which spills over in abundance into their music, offering a different flavor to most other electronic music collaborations. In fact, the pair are on a sonic quest to inject wonder, mystery, and a little sanctitude into your record collection.

Aurora was recorded in Buenos Aires in the midst of (Southern Hemisphere) Summer 2023. As you listen to the EP, feel your speakers bleed the atmosphere and ambience of those hazy South American early evenings on the beach, yellow parasols set against the red skies and the turquoise seas of the South Atlantic. If Helios is an EP for watching the sunset, then Aurora is for watching the stars come out as you and your friends prepare yourselves for an epic night ahead.

Dancing through the clouds, it seemed as if they might never find their way back to earth. Up above the world below, they felt at home wandering amidst the deep blue, watching as the fluffy pillows floated on by beneath them casting shadows down upon a dense green planet. From time to time they’d catch a glimpse of where they had arisen from, only to become re-emerged in the density of the fluffy white orbs.

They wandered atop a rainbow road, in the search of something more, something far more than what was beneath. They danced amidst the stars upon a highway of technicolour dreams.

This was the vision of a new future.

Anna Schreit is a Berlin producer and DJ who has dedicated an EP to close friends. Forthcoming on Compost Records this one showcases elegant House music with a nod to Detroit and beyond.
