Singer/songwriter/piano player communicating through music 🎶 

I started hammering on my mamas hand-me-down guitar and never could read music, but when I sing it’s like scratching an itch on my soul. I’m the kind of person to send a sound clip to my few favorite people just to get a pep talk that I’m on the right path. 

I always write most in the spring and fall. Life changes and anything that pulls me out of my comfort zone has me writing lyrics for therapy and strumming the guitar is for clarity of their meaning. 

Florence and the Machine, Laurel, Suzanne Santo, and Whitney Houston are my favorites and I bet there’s chunks of them in my music.
