Was playing around with some chords and was stuck for inspiration on a theme. My 9 year old wandered into the "studio" (spare room) so I said give me a title for a song. He told me he had only come in to say he was "missing pieces" of lego. So I said Missing Pieces will be the title and it grew from there 😃
I asked my good buddy Johnny from No Killie Fish to lay some of his awesome guitar lines for the lead guitar and I think it has really added some flavor to the track and the solo is killer!! I started writing this song sitting in a field in wales on a camping trip
its a song about getting out and about in the summertime and looking for adventure as the title suggests its a group of memories and reflections on the way i see the world at the moment,maybe the restrictions on life we have had to face has woken something up in some of us and there is a need and desire to get back out there again
