This track is alternative rock track. It is influenced by classical music. Instruments involved are vocals, acoustic piano, violin, drums and bass. My sound is mysterious, packed with melancholy and anger and it is also expressive.

Meditating in a dream

I've been "away" for a while musically, because I was busy with setting up a new PC as "music machine", but yesterday and today I've created a new track from scratch, started with programming percussion, beats, brass and stuff, the jungle vibe ambience included (with Palindrome); so all is vst and no audio loops used. From the 2020 "JamTune" series... this is featuring TIM JORDAN in a collaborative creation, jamming on a sweet laid back groove pre-recorded by one of my favorite drummers on the planet NATE SMITH. 
This track was originally published and featured on my "Audric & Friends" SC site in 2020, during the era known as the "pandemic lock-down".
With the help and mutually shared inspiration of a small handful of LOCAL musician friends of mine, approximately a dozen fun and creative instrumental tracks where published within a half-year time frame.  
I refer to this special group of tracks collectively as the "JamTune" series.

NOTE> I plan to eventually transfer all the "JamTunes" over to this SC site (my primary SC site), in which eventually my satellite SC site of mine will be closed.

It's been a minute. I'm so glad I recorded this  when I did and can share it with you now.

Don't let go of the path. What is the truest, most beautiful life you can imagine for yourself? Hold on to that vision, and don't let go of it. Stay on that path, and you will get there. It's yours and it's waiting for you. 

The life I choose is full of love and connection,  peace and safety. We all deserve and need those things. Surround yourself with people and activities that allow that, and I know that will come for you too. Much ❤️ to all of you, and I hope to share more music with you soon when I have my studio up and running again. I'll get there because I am on the path :)

Fragile Gods, the New York-based dark synthpop project of Frederick Frantz, creates flowing retrosynth tunes with minimal, atmospheric arrangements and unique vocals often backed with rich female harmonies. Their music, sounding as if it came from a cassette from another era, evokes the sounds of classic synthpop and industrial bands. 

In 2023, Fragile Gods released their long-awaited full length album, "Dark Water." Meticulously crafted over four years, the album features a diverse range of tracks, from the danceable to the surreal. Throughout the album, Frantz's vocals are both emotive and haunting, delivering lyrics that explore dreams, longing, and alienation. 

In 2019, Fragile Gods returned with their second EP, "Cold Comfort," and a new approach. The poppier elements which were hinted at on the prior release were now more to the front. Frantz's vocals are more melodic and less distorted. However, not all the rough edges have been sanded off as witnessed by "Step Outside the Frame." 

The band's 2015 debut "The Future Never Came" was influenced by the likes of 80s EBM bands Nitzer Ebb and Cabaret Voltaire with occasional synthpop elements surfacing. 

Fragile Gods is a band that is constantly evolving, creating a retro-futuristic sound that is both unique and timeless.
