Echoes of invisible phantoms and the suitable fluidity - the idea of being trapped in one form, outmatched by circumstances. Bordering on angles that are rarely disturbed -  that it is permeable. Drastic transmogrify, vigor of reflexes, unafraid of being deceived by the appearances of what exudes around.   

'Transmogrify' is a newfound approach of Anasisana. Putting ecstatic volubility into new patterns - ingrown and intense ties, tempting to pond over and bridge the shreds.

Wolfgang Tillmans’ latest album, Build from Here, is driven by a desire to explore and to expose. It navigates joy and heartbreak amid ruin and rebuilding, embodying hopeful defiance in uncertain futures. The songs vary in style, from propulsive and catchy to contemplative, featuring lush instrumentals transitioning into danceable beats. From place to place and from heart to heart, these voices hold the space together, storytelling from the shadows of oppression and discrimination, with wounds inflicted by systematic neglect, poverty, and wars – these authors speak the truth and nothing but the truth.

I am deeply humbled to present works by fierce creators, researchers, mothers, activists, freedom fighters, tribal elders, and one famous nun, life-long expats, and former sex workers; extraordinary versatility, and contemporaneity of their sound, being their common denominator, is what will mark this International Women’s Day Framework mix.
