This Week in Music #126 - Oscar & The Wolf - Pional - Say Lou Lou

Fletcher Eleckson, Francis Ximenez and Liam Benzvi met at the University of Minnesota and soon made their mark on the local music scene as @StrangeNames. On graduating they relocated to Brooklyn, re-recorded their Use Your Time Wisely EP (which is great advice by the way) and started to show New Yorkers the joys of sexy bass and harmonies. Grateful for something to get last month’s brilliant Ricochet out of our heads, we’re pleased to present the premiere of I Can’t Control Myself; a summer track guaranteed to make you move. Always on our minds (and office stereo), Strange Names have succeeded in creating the kind of music people genuinely need; sunny, happy music that makes everything feel like it’s going to be okay. After taking time to record for the past two years, FRAME returns with "Love Wasted", the first single from a forthcoming album. 

FRAME is the moniker of Brooklyn-based engineer & songwriter, Caitlin Frame. "Love Wasted" follows 2014's release of singles "Run Around" and "Polarizer". About the track Frame expresses: "When I wrote this song I felt secure and balanced with the love I had, but being in an open relationship created space to feel an obsessive and all-encompassing lust at the same time. When those feelings became entangled and borderless it was easy to act out of impulse."
