The piece "Gone in No time" consists of three sections each expressing a different angle of approaching the concept of rotation and transformation. The elements of the fragmented repetitions which attempt to draw us back to memories and the insistence of the piece on been developed in time are the main conceptual goals.

The title and the piece are inspired by the one-act play "That Time" by Samuel Beckett:  

“not a sound only the old breath and the leaves turning and then suddenly this dust whole place suddenly full of dust when you opened your eyes from floor to ceiling nothing only dust and not a sound only what was it it said come and gone was that it something like that come and gone come and gone no one come and gone in no time gone in no time”

A very rushed recording of a piece written for my undergraduate final exam. Uses a grand piano, a prepared piano and a celeste. Many thanks to Shir Levy and Thomas Ang for their assistance in performing this piece.
The music is based off several Hungarian folk tunes, with each movement serving as harmonic and timbral elaborations on a specific theme.
