Francesco Rosa is an artist born and raised on the West Coast of Canada. He's a denizen of the dancefloor; always on the move. When he's not delving into the depths of the darkest dungeons, Francesco creates thoughtfully curated dance music events under a project called Denizens.

Originally born and raised in Montreal, Mattemüs started his mixing career alongside his best friend under a duo named Filthy Kids. Shortly after, he moved to Vancouver in 2021 and since then he has immersed himself in Vancouver’s underground music scene. He has managed to play at many venues around the city and he holds residency at Soma Music Hub. He brings a lot of diversity to the decks ranging from progressive, deep house, techno & minimal. Mattemüs showcases his skills on the decks by reading the room and building up the energy level. He takes pride in the tracks he chooses, ensuring that the selections are always working together. His musical blend of melodic synths and groovy low ends will take you on a journey all night long.

My love for dance music began at the Lotus in Vancouver. My taste in dance music grew over the years going to music festivals in British Columbia. Shambhala, Basscoast, Motionotion, Wicked Woods and many more. Oh ya and Burningman. I love House above all else.
