Dear Francois,it wasn't just a question of slowing down from 45 to 33 but there was all that space in between that in order to use it we made a modification to the belt system of the Lenco L75 , so we could go to 37 rpm or 41 or even 28. This was passion !!

Hearing these songs at this tempo has been a mind opening experience!

Most of the selections in this mix were played at the 'wrong speed' in the spirit of a long tradition which has always been popular with selectors not afraid to experiment when they programmed 45 RPM records at 33 1/3 speeds instead. Classic examples of such sets were played in the late 1970's by Jim Burgess or Roy Thode (NYC) during their 'sleaze sets' and as well is something that Daniele Baldelli was renowned for during some of his legendary late-night performances in Italy.

This live DJ set was originally streamed to Facebook Live on April 23, 2020. In order to encourage listeners to research this a bit on their own, no track listing will be provided for this share.

Having grown up in a music oriented culture and family, surrounded by Persian instruments, Pedram found his musical roots in 70's Disco, Jazz, Psychedelia, Progressive and Deep House. As Deeve, he’s into any kind of atmospheric, deep music. His productions, remixes and sets range from Ambient to Downtempo, House, Breaks and groovy shades of Dub Techno. His monthly show ‚Temptations‘ showcases tracks from these various styles, creating journeys to relax, switch off, dance or dream.
