After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong.

Roberto Capuano releases his first single on Truesoul with two exceptional tracks that show a tech-ier side to Roberto’s sound and one that impresses throughout. The title track ‘Never Stop’ has been a highlight in Adam Beyer’s sets and its easy to understand why. The creeping vocal and driving drums are an inaugural part of the track before the uniquely pleasing pads drop in and create a gripping and immersive track to get lost in. ‘Around’ is a tech-ier track that implements a throbbing underlying bass line that sits and keeps the track driving under a roaring vocal.

Afterlife and Tale Of Us are proud to announce ‘Realm Of Consciousness’, a 10-piece compilation
expanding the Afterlife totality into a label. The label and events will complement each other with one
aim; to bring the crowd into another dimension of music perception with enthralling production to that
ignite the senses.
The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.

Sebastian Mullaert is well known for his work as one half of the highly respected Swedish duo Minilogue, responsible for killer releases for the likes of Cocoon, Crosstown Rebels and Wagon Repair, alongside breathtaking live shows as a solo outfit as well as their joint live act with Matthew Jonson.

Working from the idilic setting of the mystical Swedish forest, Sebastian Mullaert has has been making serious waves on his solo artist journey, lending his signature hypnotic sound to labels like Mule Musiq, Drumcode, Minus, Kontra-Musik and Ovum. His one of a kind spellbinding live show is illuminating the world’s finest stages such as Panorama Bar - Berlin, Concrete - Paris, Fabric - London, Labyrinth Festival - Japan, Black Market - NYC to name a few and can be witnessed on his recent Boiler Room and XLR8R sessions. 

At nearly 13 tantric minutes long, ‘Windmaker’ bubbles and teases with freestyle keys with an almost Middle Eastern flavour, as Mullaert plays snake charmer to his machines, coaxing out deft melodies, airy cymbals and on point beats and percussion.  It’s a track to completely get lost in, crafted with fine sonics and a gloss that only an artist like Mullaert can achieve with ease.

The enigmatic Ukranian producer, Vakula, is drafted in to give a re-interpretation of ‘Windmaker’; edgy phased stabs puncture the minimal techno beat, bouncing and reverberating off the kick drum to create a glorious wall of dubby sound that compliments the original mix a treat.  Vakula has always impressed with his creative and original music for labels like Firecracker, Dekmantel and his own Leleka imprint, so it’s a privilege to have him remix on Hypercolour.

Bastinov returns the Etruria Beat to follow up 2015's successful 'Prisma' ep, with a brand new outing in the
form of 'Space Programmer'.
The title track opens with its hypnotic synth sequence atop a strong, driving 909 based beat. Cosmic follows
with its weighty arpeggio that push the track with their melancholic vibes.
On the flip Roberto Clementi takes the title track into darker zones with distorted elements and added drone.
Closing the EP is the Detroit inspired cut Regis, that reminds us of the glory days of the great Motor City .

This is Alignment ´s first release on Etruria Beat , an Italian dj and producer based in Berlin. This EP, composed of two original tracks and two remix, starts with the main track Gravity, characterized by a 90's dry kick mixed with a heavy sub, here the synth riff is always present and go along with some background coming and going pads . Black Hole is based on a frisky and overwhelming bass riff that opens and closes for almost the entire song accompained by a pad that create dark atmospheres which will trap you down in a black hole. Avgusto remix sounds really industrial, characterized by massive reverbs and low background synths. Finally we have the remix of Reform, where the main synth doesn't change and the well structured track id defined by break/drop that will leave you on suspense.

DC172 comes on behalf of Brazilian born Vinicius Honorio, a now London based producer and DJ who is making some serious in-roads amongst a new breed of techno artists. Having already released on labels such as Pig&Dan’s Elevate and dubspeeka’s Skeleton, the next natural step in his progression comes in the form of a release on Drumcode. 

‘Through The Darkness’ is a masterclass in darkened techno grooves, with each one of the four tracks managing to show off Honorio’s skill as a producer and just why he is firing on all cylinders. The release kicks off with ‘Walking Shadow’, a track that has been a key part of Adam Beyer’s sets at the tail end of 2016 and in to the new year. This tense, brooding affair has certainly garnered a lot of attention of late and it’s clear to see why. The title track ‘Through The Darkness’ is a much more of a stripped back cut, jam-packed with a haunting vocal hook, driving basslines and slick drums. This is one for the late night mischief makers. ‘Desolate’ is another hard-hitter, managing to perfectly balance that signature Honorio groove and pounding drums that adds depth to his productions. The release closes with the atmospheric ‘Out For Blood’, which is loaded with vintage rave stabs and weighty basslines – This one is meant to played in dark and sweaty rooms.

Hailing from Spain, we are pleased to welcome Ramiro Lopez to take the reigns for our next release. The in-form producer has already released music on the likes of Bedrock, Intec, Suara and Diymanic in a relatively short space of time and garnered major support from Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Monika Kruse. Coming out on 15th May, his ‘Pretending’ release comprises of 4 tracks that have been a mainstay of Adam Beyer’s sets during the latter part of 2016 and now full force in to 2017. 

The release opens with ‘September’; Atmospheric to its very core, the crunching drums and low end rumbles make this one a sure fire weapon of choice. Next we jump into ‘Loving You’ with a haunting vocal that compliments the stripped back yet refined approach of this track. ‘Come Closer’ featuring Juliet Fox is a dark, rumbling number that screams building percussion that lends itself to become a peak time choice, whether it’s a club or festival. The release closes with ‘Pretending feat. KnowKontrol’; An 8-minute piece of work that is destined for unadulterated dancefloor destruction, whilst maintaining that melodic element that Ramiro Lopez is fast making his signature style.

ELEVATE – a label started by one of the best loved techno duos of the moment Pig&Dan, focuses on releasing music to make the listener feel just that – ‘elevated’. Since its inception in 2012, its seen a stream of hits climb the Beatport charts, featuring artists including Amelie Lens, Monika Kruse, Christian Smith, Julian Jeweil and Matador among many others.

Its 75th release comes from none other than the label bosses themselves, marking Pig&Dan’s 7th solo EP on the label.

Kicking things off, the title track “Starting Again” has a slamming kick and crisp shaker shuffle that sets the pace. It's a driving cut designed for an intense dancefloor experience. The vocals and synth collaborate effortlessly, delivering a subtle but beautiful breakdown.

Deep in those morning hours “A.M.” brings a dark abyss like track with a haunting synth pattern coupled by a bellowing horn. Both dominate the soundscape as vocal echoes escape into the mix.

Modulating low end and funked out percussion stabs roll through “In My Mind”, the filtered vocal leaks delicately in and out of the darkness, whilst the hook emerges in satisfying ooze like form.

Fast pace, old school techno inspiration comes in the form of “Obsession” to close out the EP. It comes at you with bump and swing. It’s got simple but super catchy vocals, rolling between that rhythmic peak time groove.

FRANKYEFFE - BIOGRAPHY 
Traversing the winding passages of his own cavernous capabilities, prolific Italian DJ, producer and label owner Frankyeffe – real name Francesco Fava – is well on his way to reaching the peak of his towering potential. Since his career’s 2001 inception, he’s wandered some of the darkest corners of melodic techno, injecting innovation and amplitude and gradually cementing himself as a true master within his own class.
Initially rising to prominence behind the decks of Rome’s renowned Rashomon Club, for three consecutive seasons, the venue’s intimate interior provided a vast canvas for Frankyeffe to draw upon. Soon sparking the interests of a wider audience, he’s since reached international recognition playing at various Mutate events in Naples, the Audio Club in Geneva, Germany’s Audiogate festival in 2017 and a monster slot on the Pryda stage at 2018’s instalment of Tomorrowland in Belgium. Stretching his reach further to high profile gigs in the UK, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Columbia and China his music is fast becoming a global force to be reckoned with.  
Helping to inspire other artist’s talent and creativity, Frankyeffe’s fierce DIY ethos is embodied by his own Riot Recordings label where he’s simultaneously put out a number of his own releases including his name making 2015 debut album, Trenta along with a handful of other flourishing and deserved artists – Teenage Mutants, Maksim Dark, Heerhorst and Spartaque to name a few. He’s worked alongside the likes of Enrico Sangiuliano – winner of ‘Best Producer’ at the 2019 DJ Awards – as well as been featured on established imprints that span Noir, Kraftek, We Are The Brave, Senso Sounds and Terminal M. 
With an exciting schedule already underway, Frankyeffe has a busy year ahead with a string of tour dates and releases on Senso Sounds and his own Riot Recordings ready to drop in early 2020. Well set on the highroad to stardom, 2020 will be a crucial year for this buzzing techno talent.
