Elephant Shoe Vol.5

Volume #5 has arrived!! Just in time for summer festival season here in Canada and the rest of the world. Mixed at 125bpm-128bpm, this mix is an absolute dance floor smasher!! It is relentless from start to finish. Heavily influenced by Hip Hop and R&B, this mix is sure to bring back memories and create new ones. 

This is one of the grimiest mixes I have done in some time. Its a mix of Bass House, G House, Tech House, Brazilin House, Brazilin Bass, Brazilin Bassline, Garage House. Please like, share, follow and comment. I love hearing from you guys and appreciate the shit out of everyone of you.

Finding the words to summarize my experience at Shambhala Music Festival is always a challenge. This year was truly a special one. Despite the inevitable challenges, the unwavering support from my incredible friends and farmily makes this all possible year after year.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for being there with me during the opening of the Fractal Forest. It's an honor and a humbling experience to celebrate that moment together.  Attending my first Shambhala in 2003, I could never have imagined that I'd end up here. Sharing my music with you all has been an incredible opportunity, and I am forever grateful for this amazing journey.
A massive thank you to Rich-E-Rich and Team Fractal family for all their hard work in creating this magical experience.

A re-recording of my DJ set I shared at a very special event in Melbourne over new year's eve called Tribe One Heartbeat.
This set was infused with the intentions of connecting to the energies of the heart to the cosmic sky.
I warmed up the crowd for Ganga Giri this set and honestyl had the greatest time channeling light and connection into this space.

So grateful for the opportunity to play for you all and I hope you enjoy reconnecting with the energies of NYE 2019/2020.

This particular recording was recorded live in the lotus temple, a sacred haven I had the pleasure of staying at for my trip in and around Melbourne, using Traktor and visually observed live through Instagram.

This is a late night/ early morning vibe. It is chill but with plenty of forward thinking bass music throughout.   Music and art has been keeping my mind and heart in an ok place lately. It is a n affective safety net when the world outside seems so harsh and cold.  I hope these sounds and mixes can keep you a little warmer this winter and beyond.  I love you all. It's been an interesting year for music... The abrupt halt in us sharing music in live contexts definitely shook me up in ways, and the ups and downs of my creative process have made me wonder lately what really matters in all this to me.
I tried on existing with the stress of "needing to figure out how to redesign my career" to make it more "worth(?) it" without shows , the thought maybe i need more followers and more posts and more likes , to be "better(?)" or "bigger(?)"
Some days i'd open the studio door and wonder : "is this officially an office job now???? really, is it???
Is music but a product to be sold in some capitalist system?
Fuck no.
the studio to me is meant to be a temple, a safe-haven for expression and creativity.
this music is a gift to be shared. it's a vibe that has connected people for times immemorial, in continuously evolving forms. so much bigger than any individual.

I wanna take a moment to say thank you if you've been a listener, and if this music has moved you or inspired you, that means the most to me.
You're more than just another follower or like , you're part of this world with me.

Our world is going through some crazy times, and  i think it is very important for us to question the ways we relate to each other as humans, and what our true value systems are. Each of us has an input on reality.

Ive been putting out music on solstice for years now, but had to take some deep moments this year for myself to remember...
i love music, creating is a pleasure to me, and i love sharing it as well
i believe we are all connected through this web of life
so i offer these sounds as a gift
