This years Shambhala Music Festival was my 10th year playing in the Fractal Forest. It was a blast, and I thank the thousands of people who came out to party with all of us.

Here it is folks, my set from Fozzy Fest last summer at the Shipwrecked Stage. This was the latest set I played all summer at 2am so I had to bring the heat. Definitely my hypest recording in a while with some hefty funk, bass and turbo drum & bass. The Funk Hunters Proudly Present: A Shambhala Mixtape

This summer we were blessed with the opportunity to premiere our brand new 4-turntable Audio Visual show at Canada's legendary Shambhala Music Festival! 100% of our set was accompanied with live synchronized handcrafted visuals content and nearly all of the remixes, samples, and acapellas you hear within this mix were first turned into video files and then played live during our set on Friday night in The Fractal Forest.

Now home from summer festivals and about to embark on our Fall North American Tour, we've gone back into the studio to recreate the magic found in the forest that night in the form of this downloadable mixtape, so please DOWNLOAD and SHARE away! This might be the most important mix of 2020 and the only thing that should be going viral right now. Shout out to all the Health Care workers fighting this pandemic on the frontlines (my amazing wife Carly being one of them) ... While I’m being silly with this mix in some parts I assure you I do not take this situation lightly. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this #coronavirus situation for weeks so I decided instead of fighting it, to just channel all that energy into a mixtape . I feel useless sitting at home out of work while Carly is in the trenches so this is my way of helping the cause and hopefully driving home the importance of flattening the curve to our generation right now. I’ve put well over 100 hours in to this compiling songs and news/podcast/movie clips and was updating them until yesterday so all the info is correct up until today at least. I don’t have any fan gates on this one so please help by sharing and tagging friends on whatever platform you choose 🙏🏻 I just want it to spread quicker than Covid-19 is to get the message out and provide some entertainment for everyone while we’re all staying home ... Big love to all of you out there! We are making a difference in how many lives are being lost to this and how hard the healthcare system is getting hit but we can always do better and there’s still a lot of people not taking it as seriously as they should.
