Frustrated comic artist working with Clay Young illustrating his weirdo novelty songs. Many of the images were created on the road while exploring new worlds. My characters are parodies of actual people, places and events which really happened. Nothing like a bad neighbor and a cold beer to give a bit of inspiration for a twisted cartoon throw down. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any stupider I take it to the next level and go there. Cheers!

Inexplicably the man know as Dred Fouglas was born in the year 1913 to two women. In some strange way, they both gave birth to each half of his body. He was rightfully left in the woods at birth. In 1917 he was first documented crafting a stringed instrument from bailing twine and shovels. Feared by the town, he was persecuted and declared a "sheehogue" and a "vargulf" despite having 1 confirmed kill against a werewolf.  He fled the town to become an extra in the Roman Polanski film "Rosemary's Baby". Several years later he read from the Naturom Demonto in East Tennessee and began writing songs that are responsible for at least 13 killings. He now resides with his wife and 24 children in the suburbs of Port Banguss, Maine, smoking his pipe and writing gloomy music is his mildewy garage.

Songs from the edge of somewhere. A place that doesn’t announce itself. You step in and can’t tell if you’ve walked into a protest, a party, or the end of something.

Conil’s music comes from the blues and from the life that followed it. A voice marked by the places it’s been.

The early years were England. Then came New Orleans, New York, Berlin, the Himalayas, Kilimanjaro.

TBR; the sound of a singer/songwriter, but not in the traditional sense! Influenced by a mixture of grunge, garage and metal, TBR takes a solo aesthetic, but applies a rock/metal filter, with a home produced approach. Lyrically, the songs are inspired by a mixture of personal and political issues, with views on modern life that underpins the songs.
