Roberto B (@2roberto2) and I now present our "Electronic Symphony 3". It was composed by Roberto B on 22 September 2024 in MAGIX (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix), Alex M on 13 December 2024 in Logic Pro using Akai MPK keyboard input (subsequent composition, recording, arrangement and mix), and Roberto B on 16 December 2024 in MAGIX (final composition, integration of the voice sample from MAGIX - with our thanks, additions, arrangements, recording and mix), and released here on SoundCloud today about noon (in Europe), 31 December 2024. We hope you'll enjoy it. And, yes, it is the right time to say it now: happy, peaceful and prosperous 2025 to all fans of SoundCloud, and to all people on our planet Earth!

The artwork cover for the album and all its tracks uses a painting by Roberto B of 24 May 2022 annotated in Mac OS Preview by Alex M on 27 October 2024 - in coordination and agreement between the two.

Tracktober 002: “Dr. Strawberries and Cream” — Funky Nudisco in D Minor 123BPM

Day 2 of my Tracktober challenge 🎃 — every day this month I’m writing and posting a track sketch. These are works-in-progress (WIP), not finished mixes (I only put max 2 hours into each one!) — the goal is to practice showing up daily, experiment with new ideas, and share the creative process openly instead of waiting until everything is “perfect.”

• Concept: Start with a fun bass line and buiid from there (instead of drums)
• What I practiced: Melodic and harmonic composition. How to improvise and build melodies and harmonies. I also tinkered with the Arturia instrument plugin and made my synths a bit warmer sounding 
• Imperfections: The highs sound way overbalanced to me (which is sort of OK because the mixing isn’t done!), and i wish i had more time to elaborate on the melodies with runs and fun stuff. It definitely has legs as a dance track, and I think more time could definitely put it there.
• Influences: No joke? Carly Rae's Loneliest Time and intros to Kim Petras and Dua Lipa tracks...DON’T DRAG ME!
