Today we are proud to announce In-house label 'Another Name's second release 'Et Andet Sted Tribute Album - AN01'. A collection of 22 tracks from artists who have played or been connected to the former DIY rave club in the old vegetable market of Copenhagen, a place called “Et Andet Sted”. The release stretches out and explores the diverse outer reaches of what Copenhagen underground scene is all about, starting with distorted experiment sound, four-to-the-floor house, signature fast techno and trance euphoria.
The album comes in two fully packed CDs with the artwork which will tickle some warm memories of countless hours spent o the dancefloor of the club. The compilation album will also be available in a digital version.

About the club: Et Andet Sted was a unique free space for creative souls, DJ’s and ravers. The place for this sonice parallel universe existed for eith month only but it gave the birth to many new inspirations, music carriers and friendships. It was demolished due to gentrification. It is and will forever be missed.

About the label: Another Name is the in-house label of Copenhagen based nightclub: Ved siden Af, The music representing the sound of the club, the artists that frequent our space and the culture it supports.

In celebration of International Women's Day 2022 all proceeds from this release will go directly to charities working to create safe sleeping spaces for homeless migrants, trans, inter and queer health care and people with disabilities in Berlin as well as various charities in Ukraine.

Berlin’s Hypersoft collective kick off their new label with a 15-track VA raising
funds for trans youth and a launch party at OHM.

The collective, run by Berlin and London-based DJs TPR and DJ TEETH, emerged onto the scene in 2022 and is known for balancing breakthrough and established artists from the new school of the progressive landscape with legends and innovators of the scene, a resident lineup that includes Cromby, Bambi and Bliss Inc. and guests ranging from Sunju Hargun and Spekki Webu to nd_baumecker and Jane Fitz.

Their first release as a label follows the same principle: Adam Pits, Angel D’lite,
Bliss Inc., Cromby, D. Tiffany & Dugong, DJ TEETH, Desire, Dylan Forbes, E-Talking, Eoin DJ, Frederik Tollund, Inner Zone, Kasper Marott, Lisene and Running Hot all contribute to a VA that represents the nexus point where multiple axes of the current club landscape converge. Futuristic neo-prog and razor-sharp tech house, heavy progressive rollers and massive dancefloor bombs, percussive acid workouts and lush, synth-driven HD prog, neo-trance vocal euphoria, feel-good house, dreamy breaks and UK rave nostalgia: It’s all here, colliding on a VA that explores the spaces inbetween and a vision of things to come.

Europe and Mermaids, two organisations doing essential work supporting and
