Freemachine are Matt Irvine and Guy Richardson, a pair of musicians from Sheffield. We make our music with acoustic instruments and electrical devices. Once damned for our "pathological obsession with sensuous seventh and ninth chords", we have been criticized more recently of "tonal precariousness and ambiguity". Make up your own mind. One thing is for certain: you can't have it both ways. The truth is it's mostly a series of experiments gone wrong.

Freemachine accept commissions for all types of soundtrack work, plus TV and radio commercials, corporate videos and personalized ringtones.

AMANIC liebt Synthesizer, was nicht nur in seinen Produktionen, sondern auch in DJ-Sets markant ist. Im Vordergrund steht treibender, elektronisch-technoider Sound, sowie dem Ehrgeiz vielseitige Elemente zu verarbeiten und zum passenden Club das passende Set zu finden. Oftmals führt das dazu, dass AMANIC im Club meist anders klingt, als es der ein oder andere erwarten möge.

Er legt außerdem Wert auf Abwechslung und experimentelle Elemente, ganz egal ob tiefe Flächen, verspielte Effekte, Kooperationen mit anderen Künstlern oder genreuntypische Remixes. Hauptsache anders. 

Wirft man einen Blick hinter die Fassade, so stellt man schnell fest, dass seine musikalische Welt auch in andere Bereiche reicht. Inzwischen ist AMANIC u.a. bei „Northern Lite“ als zusätzlicher Produzent tätig und ein wichtiger Teil der Kreativabteilung. 

Als Gründer von Ascending Branch, betreibt er außerdem, gemeinsam mit vertrauten DJs und Freunden ein kleines Label, welches versucht, musikalischen Ansprüchen, auf spezielle Art und Weise, gerecht zu werden.
