Besides being the culprit behind our funny status updates and instagram captions, DJ Margerita is also somewhat well versed in electronic music. For his resident mix he wants to showcase his full arsenal of hidden treasures. 

The mix can be seen as a potpourri of deep & hypnotic techno, ”boot to the mouth” disco, hard hitting house and even a bit of his new found - well for him at least - passion in minimal. Add all this with some breaky bits as the cherry on top and you get a sense of where this jolly old fellows taste lies.

We met him during our time in Madrid last year, around a mad gig in Malasana with Pascal, we stayed in touch, sending regularly musical discoveries to each other 🤍🎶

This episode is a well balanced mix between the prog vibe we cherish and his iberian influences. Really happy to share it with you today ⚡️

It is by bridging this gap that this space finds its purpose, by joining the eagerness of everyone involved: from the avid listeners and dancers to the dedicated selectors. Offering this opportunity for both to meet and delight, enriching each other in the process, is what motivates us to keep doing it and every episode presents a renewed vow to that noble effort and everyone that takes part in it. Artists as devoted as Foie Gras, who helms this episode, vividly represent this commitment, not only for being the type of gifted player we love to have, but also one that shares this sense of mission in all of his projects. Platforms such as Pachanga, a haven for lovers of rhythms from varied parts of the timespace continuum of global dance music whose curatorial wealth is much the brainchild of its creator as it is the fruit of the dedication of its many contributors. Gop Cast 119 - Foie Gras

For the first hour of this episode of Released Control we are stoked to have the very talented producer & DJ E-Talking live on the show, playing some of the finest Cosmic Trance and Progressive House tunes, including some unreleased tracks and obscure 90s gems. Followed by a one-hour mix by radio host Eclectic Elektra, who selected some of her favorite new and old school House and Prog records.

One half of French duo Nummer alongside long-time friend and partner-in-crime Silvère Letellier, Emmanuel Corre has begun a new chapter in his musical career under the moniker of E-Talking. Inaugurating that new path, his debut instalment as E-Talking came through the high-flying Blue Series of London's finest, AD93.

Released as a split in 2018, “Téléphone Rose” marked a shift from Nummer’s compositions but no betrayal towards their respective aspirations. A full-fledged left-of-centre club weapon designed to swash in the club with unrelenting novelty effect, the track makes for a ravishingly disparate patchwork of Emmanuel’s influences, from blazing, acid-informed electronics to bassy deconstructionism, via revamped house and techno tropes.

Emmanuel’s formative years at London’s reputed record store, Kristina Records, helped him forge the distinctive, all-embracing approach that can be felt through his sets and material, as made further obvious on his maiden full-length from 2021 for Going Good, “Techno Man’s Land”.

Mapping his own route at large from normative barricades, E-Talking has been gathering momentum with his latest EP “The Cosmic Egg” released in September 2023 on Paramida’s Love On The Rocks imprint. In the wake of his acclaimed two-year residency on Rinse France and in parallel to regular appearances on HÖR, Emmanuel’s line of action is just about to reveal in all its glorious scope and scale, so better keep your ear to the ground.

London based, when not digging they spend their time in the studio producing or running north London party Splitloop.
