Bash man is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer. Widely regarded as a master of the turntables, he has a record collection spanning various genres, mainly focusing on the harder essence of House and Techno. 

Bash is a Resident of both RUSH in Glasgow at the Berkely suite alongside Mi$$ Co$mix and the weekly Resist parties at the Mash House in Edinburgh. A truly committed selector who shows no signs of slowing down. 

Bash man has a 12" forthcoming on Leftfield House and Techno Imprint Non Stop Rhythm. The release will see a compilation of tracks from his previous 2 EPs on the same label, finally getting the chance to be pressed onto wax.

The dream of becoming a DJ was kindled in 12-year-old Berrin, and now she performs with that cheerful, energetic little girls' spirit. She invites you to dance and embrace the freedom of the techno playground she passionately creates.

Frenetik 101 is from Manchester based DJ, Ben Moulson aka April who has firmly rooted himself in the northern scene with his hyperactive crate digging habits and diversity in sound. Whether it the 10pm ambient hour, or the 6am sweat box his record bag will answer the call.

April’s flexibility behind the decks has comfortably positioned him on an array of lineups across the North of England + beyond. With appearances at firm favourites such as Meat Free, The Warehouse Project, Wire Presents, Foundry, Tiriba & more.

Outside of DJing, April co-pilots Chorus, a local party focussed on collaboration and ‘diversifying your sonic palate’. What started as a techno focussed party now acts as a petri-dish for experimentation that evolves in synergy with Aprils flavours. Adding to the output, April recently launched a vinyl only jungle night, with local selector Esmé, where their attention focuses on the more soulful side of the sound, championing legends of the scene alongside up and coming talent.

Kicking off 2025 for us is Switzerland and Berlin Resident, DJ Sun. With musician parents, the connection to music has always been present. His journey began when he discovered the world of illegals rave parties in 2015 where electronic music reigned supreme. Fascinated by their organization, DJ Sun quickly decided to venture into organizing his own illegals raves, which led to the founding of the OTIUM collective in 2018. Over time, he honed his DJ skills, specializing in old-school techno infused with influences from hip hop, jazz, and house.

Beyond his DJ performances, he has also delved into VJing projects, leveraging his videography skills. For the past four years, he has been creating his own compositions to add a more personal touch to his DJ sets. The creation of his own label, OTIUM Records, in collaboration with his best friend Rødig, has been one of the highlights of his artistic journey. DJ Sun’s universe stands out with a commitment to quality over quantity,
focusing on creating his first EP in 2024 that will reflect an authentic artistic approach. Looking ahead, DJ Sun’s project aims to create an A/V show entirely controlled by machines on stage. This complementary project is more festival-oriented, providing a more «touring» aspect compared to the clubbing/
rave element of a DJ set.

Our latest instalment sees one of Glasgow’s finest, Bash Man bringing the punders for 31st edition of the series. Part of local collective Rush, the wax aficionado knows his stuff and if you’ve seen him causing it at their residency at Room 2/La Cheetah, which has seen the likes of VARG, Schwefelgelb and D. Carbone to our dance floors, you’ll know what we mean. He also has his own residency on FNoob Techno, ‘Planet Bash’ which has seen the likes of previous podcast guest Whitley and a whole host of local talent given the opportunity to showcase their talents. 

This one starts fast and remains skelping for the duration. Fire it on, turn it up and away and enjoy the sunshine. Cheers to Bash Man for sending this one over to us, we’ve been keen to have him involved for a while now and we’re delighted that it came to fruition. Eoi.
