The first podcast of 2022 will be provided by TWR72. TWR72 has already joined us at our event back in October, together with the Italian force Alarico, and now we’re happy to have him for one more round on the series! 

It is fair to say that TWR72 has left important marks in the scene in the past couple of years. With his own productions, TWR72 created a signature sound which contain a strong groove, cutting drive backed with trippy synths that have impacted many nights already. As head honcho of Float Records and OOM Records TWR72 gave platform to a huge set of artists, both renowned and upcoming. 

For our 109th podcast TWR72 created a one-hour mix that has us moving from the start and makes us miss the dance floor even more. Driving prime techno with heavy hitting loops, trippy synths and vocal chips, from the start to the end; a perfect way to open 2022 if you ask us. Listen to the sound of TWR72 here, enjoy!

The 110th FrenzyPodcast will be provided by our resident Beau Didier. For the ones with a sharp eye: this is not a new resident, but a name change of our current resident, formerly known as HS. The name change took place because Beau Didier is the real name of our resident, and he therefore feels more true to himself with adopting this name as his new artist name. Luckily, nothing will change in his sound. Beau Didier will bring more old school to the table, and he will release an EP soon too! So, better keep an eye out on him this year.

For the podcast Beau Didier created a one-hour mix which is peak-time minded, pedal to the metal and not letting go is the memo of this mix. You will hear thunderous drums, groovy hats and some deep rolling baselines in tracks played from artists such as Gaetek, Mhonolink, Hardcell and Michel de Hey, among others. The 123rd FrenzyPodcast will be provided by Chontane! The Ukrainian-rooted, Berlin-grown artist is part of the new wave of producers more invested in sound design and razor-sharp productions than ever before. Chontane’s early studies in music and sound design allow for surgical precision; the results of which can be found in his densely produced tracks. Pulling in UK-style rhythms rethought at times through twitchy IDM arrangements to add to his recognizable punch, his sound is anything but conforming. As a result, his tracks stand at a stylistic crossroads between various dance genres, easily slipping into just about anyone’s tracklist if their goal is to get people moving.
