◾Real Name: Juan Aristizabal

◾Current city: Greenville

◾How did you come up with your dj name: LaCow is a mixture of my Colombian heritage and English as a second language. Friend and I always use to say Hello by saying “moo”. I took it and ran with it by calling my self the Cow.

◾How and when did you get into djing: Listening to Paul Oakenfold’s Essential Mixes and listening to Tiesto’s ISOS compilations. Got turntables at 19 and the rest was history.
◾Who are your musical influences and what is your inspiration: I’ve always been a Trance junky. Paul Van Dyk, The Thrillseekers, Pulser, Giuseppe Ottaviani in the Trance Genre. As far as Progressive or Melodic House I dig Yotto, PROFF, and really dig what Alex O’Rion is putting out. As far for Organic House, Krasa Rosa have a very elegant sound.

◾Describe your sound as a DJ: I want to believe I am recording or playing an Essential Mix, some what of a journey through sounds and melodies. Creating a vibe for everyone to enjoy.

◾What does the future hold in store for you as an artist: I’d like to start playing out and sharing some of my unshared music I’ve personally produced.
