kamẹra has been @renata-sabella 's alter moniker since she started delving into the side-pits of a large umbrella going from breakbeat to grime, footwork, trap and the sort. Standing for "chameleon" in Yoruba, the alias pretty much describes what it is that is driving the blustery beats we are used to from Renata, into an indulgent surplus of syncopation and rhythmic exploration. 

Here she is with another master beat-bending session, recorded at the latest Grime and Punishment at the Warehouse a little while ago.

MAWADα is the hybrid production and DJing project of Rayyan Abdelkhalek, that explores voice, ritual and community-based healing. Born in recall to the Beirut underground movements in the early 2000s that revolved around discreet yet highly inclusive acid, hardcore and experimental parties in-and-around the city, MAWADα’s practice is ever evolving.
Through bringing together different elements from techno, prayer, noise, pop and club cultures, MAWADα seeks to instigate and nurture collective affect through music.

As usual, I recorded the mix as soon as I woke up in the morning with a big desire to be with you and gather differently. I hope it takes you to a new place. 

'Kasra' couldn't care less about genre. With music from Najat Al Saghira, Al-Mutreb Abul-Loul, Nene H, Asha Tamirisa, CITYTRONIX, Huma Utku, Marc Acardipane, Ospiel, DAF, Irak  + many more... as well as, live sampling from my compositions 'VRLAMXXAB8ND' and 'Only Distance Has a Name' that, in very different parameters, deal with distance and confinement.

@rami-abadir is a music producer and sound designer born in Cairo, Egypt. His work focuses on experimental, glitch and ambient music, and he's one half of the duo @0N4B.
