The song was originally conceived as an instrumental composition. When 11 Acorn Lane realized that the vocals from their tune "Let's Do It" would perfectly fit over this new instrumental recording they couldn't resist marrying the two into "Let's Do It Again".

Over that time his trademark dark cinematic electro swing sound has broadly evolved to a more frenetic and upbeat jazz-influenced approach and also included countless self-released demos and side-albums.
