Intended Immigration's "All I Do Is Dream Of You" is a neo-retro cover of the classic song from the Gene Kelly film "Singing In The Rain" (where it is sung by Debbie Reynolds) combining the rich sounds of jazz with a fat swinging house beat. 

The arrangement features lovingly recorded sultry strings, sassy brass and silky saxes to form the backdrop for an intriguing female vocal, both romantic and flirtatious. 

In certain spots, the cheeky arrangement leaves it provocatively open what it is exactly the singer does "the whole night through". A neighing trumpet winks tellingly.

I love Bill Whiters' song "Lovely Day" so much. I've wanted to record my own version of it for a long time trying to capture the smile this song puts on my face and translate it into a musical arrangement with an uplifting female vocal and a playful jazzy instrumentation. I hope I've succeeded in adding a little bit of loveliness to a song that certainly didn't need my help but hopefully will bring joy to a few more people in its new shape.
