For those that maybe don't know, the band was formed in 2004 by producer, record collector and multi instrumentalist, Paul Thorpe. The VTQs first tracks were made freely available on the internet by their creator as supposedly "rediscovered" originals. The joke backfired however when the tracks became immensely popular in their own right , each one clocking up thousands of downloads.

Quand l'ego cesse, qu'humilité et acceptation commencent, alors amour, compassion et contemplation suivent leurs pas. Il faut parfois toute une vie pour y accéder. Certains vivent cela seulement au crépuscule de leur vie. D'autres y parviennent de leur vivant, dans leur quotidien. Plus ou moins souvent. Plus ou moins longtemps. Avec plus ou moins d'intensité. Ce n'est pas qu'une quête, mais bien un cheminement. Long et fastidieux, tant les sources de distractions et les épreuves sont nombreuses mais tout est là, déjà là, il suffit de tendre la main... FORCE.
