Albert’s singles have been played on BBC Radio 2 by Dermot O’Leary, BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson and across the BBC Introducing network. His music has been streamed more than 100,000 times Worldwide.

Last year he completed a hugely successful tour of Brazil, where he played the biggest blues festival in Latin America, The Mississippi Delta Blues Festival. Named the muse of the festival, he headlined the folk stage to a packed arena of eager fans.

Albert is releasing two singles this Spring, followed by an ep. 

Later in the year he will be touring the UK, Europe and returning to Brazil.

John Jenkins New Release 

Acclaimed songwriter John Jenkins announces his new solo album 
“Growing Old (Songs From My Front Porch)”

The follow up to the acclaimed “John Jenkins and the James Band” “Looking for that American Dream” album. 

Recorded at the famous Liverpool Crosstown Studios and co-produced by Jon Lawton, Mastered by Peter Maher

Recorded with a selection of musicians that includes a duet with old friend and “Nashville Liverbird” Siobhan Maher-Kennedy and some beautiful string parts written by Amy Chalmers, the album consists of 12 reflective stripped back songs.

John says “I really wanted to record a selection of intimate songs that could resonate with the listener. Stories of life, family, friends, good times, sad times, loss and happiness”

John Jenkins

John Jenkins is a firm Liverpool favourite, well known and loved from his appearances around the city with his solo performances and those with his “James Street Band”.

Recent support spots with Chris Difford (Squeeze), Robert Vincent, Dean Owens and the Southerners, The Way Down Wanderers and Jarrod Dickenson have widened his audience 

He was joint winner of the 2015 of the Liverpool Acoustic Songwriting Challenge, and finalists in 2016 and 2019. 
His song “Silhouettes” was a finalist in UK Country Radio Show song of the year 2019.
His song “Looking for that American Dream” is a finalist in their 2020 shortlist as well as the “FabChart Radio” songs of the year for this year. 


He currently presents a weekly Americana Blues Country and Folk show at Vintage Radio Birkenhead.

A slice of dream-pop electronica, a story of passionate lovers and a sea passage take place on a Saturday night. Waves of rolling piano and shimmering siren harmonies surround us as we board into the storm. Phoebe Coco draws us close to see the seascape between the lovers; crashing waves, glimpses of treasure and descending moments of bliss. Featuring the harmonies of her twin sisters, Grace and Dorothy, backed by arpeggiated bass, drum machines, shakers and melodicas it is framed by Phoebe’s signature piano and dreamy vocals.

 Out on the 9th of March on Sharp Attack Records, and also featuring on the anticipated forthcoming debut album from Phoebe Coco, it is co-produced by Phoebe Coco with Marc Makavov and Vanessa Anne Redd and mixed by Grammy Award winning Eduardo De Le Paz.
